The Whole Foods across the street has closed early.

A counter-protest of approximately 50 are following close.
3 or 4 law enforcement SUVs drove by with lights and sirens.

A speaker is talking about the arrest of a 14-year-old girl here in Eugene at a protest a couple of weeks ago.
A speaker with @ucaEUG is currently talking about the need for more people at future protests.
Protestors are helping a woman who was just released from the jail and has nowhere to go. I hear a rideshare was called.
There's a small group of counter-protestors in front of the jails plaza

The counter-protest is behind chanting "whose streets? Our streets"
A man set off his parked car's alarm and drowned out the chants.
Still downtown marching.
Uhhh someone just came and "swooped" the microphone and is now leading the march and chant.
I ALMOST got a full-on Nazi salute on camera but was too late.
A counter-proyesyor ripped off someone's mask and tore it up.
The protest just started marching again. Counter in close pursuit.
It appears the counter-protest has stopped a ways behind us.
The man who took the microphone said "thank you for giving this movement some direction"
"The Nazis were doing too much but we stood our ground."

"A woman after walked up to me and tried stealing my phone after I was done recording, then I was chased down by atleast 3 counter protestors and had to flee to someone's car to be safe"

Sounds like this protest is ending.
Listening to the driver of the Snack Van. The van was stopped by counter-protesters and the police came to let it through.
