Can we please start a movement to stop the use of "recovered" when discussing COVID-19 positive individuals that are outside of the 14 day window? Language matters here. I'm seeing too many people online that are using this number to justify not taking the virus seriously.
In Oklahoma the term "Recovered" as defined by @HealthyOklahoma means an individual has made it to the end of the 14 day time period and isn't 1) dead or 2) still hospitalized. This doesn't speak to the long term health ramifications that are present far after this acute phase.
Many people that are documented as "recovered" are experiencing symptoms such as: fatigue, a racing heartbeat, shortness of breath, achy joints, foggy thinking, a persistent loss of sense of smell, and damage to the heart, lungs, kidneys, and brain.
Below are links to various articles (since some that read this may not have access to peer reviewed journals). The Science article links to many of the current studies/what we currently know. The biggest concern for me is, we don't know a lot, and what we do know is not good.

And yes -- young folks, it can happen to us too.

And what about kids? There's a lot of misinformation as it pertains to pediatric patients, particularly by politicians that probably couldn't pass a 5th grade science class.

There's a plethora of research not included here (i.e. people my age having strokes). These are simply examples of emerging evidence that should cause pause for anyone that thinks this is a 14 day cold that can't result in significant health issues later down the road.
