I would like to see @DonaldJTrumpJr answer some questions about this:

"Documents provided by the NRA show that at least one unidentified person had misgivings about the interaction. The NRA provided copies of two text messages dated May 23, 2016..."

9/
"...showing an unidentified individual warned [@DonaldJTrumpJr] to avoid “a Russian gal” he’d met that weekend.

“I understand that someone introduced a Russian gal to you this week. I’ll fill you in this week but I would steer clear if she tries to reach out to you.”

10/
Correcting an earlier tweet: This is NOT the same person who was charged, this is Bob Woody, NOT Wilson Woody Phillips.

"The #NRA party was Wayne sheet's gathering of roughly 30 donors...Ollie North, Woody and Don Trump were counted amount the members present.

out of order 8/
FYI: "Primary purpose test. An organization may not be treated as exempt under section 501(c)(3) if more than
an insubstantial part of its activities is not in furtherance of a specified charitable purpose."

The Trumps learned about this the hard way also.

11/
"Contrary to assertions that the purpose of the trip was solely to advance gun rights issues, key
participants in the Moscow trip participated primarily or solely because of the business
opportunities it presented."

nytimes.com/2019/09/26/us/…

12/
.@SheriffClarke participated in the NRA trip to Moscow with Maria Butina.

Here's Kislyak again, the same guy who Gen. Flynn set up a back channel with to undermine Pres. Obama's foreign policy, then lied to the FBI about it and pleaded guilty and accepted a plea deal.

14/
They were warned: "...if the receipt of the funds is itself an illegal act such conduct could
result in revocation or denial of tax-exempt status."

Think any of these Russian Oligarchs are involved?

"NRA delegation planned to meet with several
Russian oligarchs while in Russia. The delegation...
planned to meet with Konstantin Nikolaev, Pavel Gusev, and Vadim Zadorozhny."

17/
In a 10/4/16 email, U.S. Person 1 stated, “Unrelated to specific presidential campaigns, I’ve been involved in securing a VERY private line of communication between
the Kremlin and key POLITICAL PARTY 1 leaders through, of all conduits, the [GUN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION].

18/
.@tedcruz appears in the September 2019 report on the #NRA and Russia also.

Emphasis on "this report illustrates potential weaknesses to foreign intelligence threats by American tax-exempt
organizations."

AUDITS! This has been coming for awhile. @NewYorkStateAG must know A LOT.

"Committee minority staff is aware that the New York State and District of Columbia Attorneys General offices have initiated audits of the NRA’s compliance with applicable tax laws."

21/
Maybe @RonWyden has something to share also?

"The minority staff is aware of additional allegations of private inurement and misuse of tax-exempt resources at the NRA beyond the 2015 Russia trip. Ranking Member Wyden has initiated an inquiry into these allegations..."

22/
They used the #NRA "to gain access to
American organizations."

"The minority staff investigation confirms that the NRA, its officers, board members, and donors engaged
in a years-long effort to facilitate the U.S.-based activities of Maria Butina and Alexander Torshin."

23/
Narrator Voice: They were not.

"The scope of the NRA’s support for these Russian activities raises concerns about whether the activity in which the #NRA, its officers and board members engaged
were in furtherance of the organization’s exempt purpose."

24/
"The minority staff investigation confirms that some members of the #NRA delegation participated in the
Moscow trip primarily or solely for the purpose of advancing personal business interests, rather than
advancing the NRA’s tax-exempt purpose."

25/
Which members of the NRA delegation? Were they named in the suit? So much in here.

Since its creation, the United States of America has sought to find a balance between federal power and state power. All with the belief that a government EXISTS to protect the rights of the PEOPLE. This was a radical concept.

1/
After the failed fractured government of the Articles of Confederation, men like Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington knew that the country needed a national leader and a federal government.

2/
At the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, the framers argued ferociously over how to strike a balance between state and federal powers, while maintaining that government exists to protect individual rights.

I am reading up on the ADX Florence supermax prison.

There are a several Americans imprisoned there who shared classified information with the Russians.

They are serving lengthy prison terms.

Russia is not our friend.

Thread

1/
Robert Hannsen is interesting.

He is currently serving 15 concurrent life sentences.

He voluntarily passed US classified information for years.

I notice that the majority of his work with Russia came during Democratic presidencies.

Coincidence? Maybe.

2/
I also noticed that Robert Hannsen is a member of Opus Dei, a fanatical sect of Catholicism, so is Bill Barr.

Maybe Bill Barr knows Hannsen?

So the long anticipated and much hyped Senate Intel Cmte Volume 5 is out.

I am starting with the recommendations.

intelligence.senate.gov/sites/default/…

1/
This part is interesting:

One of the ways foreign actors influenced the election was through “a private entity intertwined with the structures of democracy.”

#Volume5

2/
This has to do with Flynn, who lied to the FBI about subverting the acting President’s foreign policy, which he also did not take notes about because he knew what he was doing was problematic.

Images of anonymously uniformed federal agents arresting protestors in Portland feels like fascism. We are witnessing the ground level of something terrible.

It reminds me of a deeply disturbing book called Ordinary Men by Christopher R. Browning.

#Portland
#NeverForget

1/
Ordinary Men describes the descent of average German citizens to murderers who would say things like, "It was supposed to be...soothing to my conscience to release children unable to live without their mothers," describing how they rationalized murdering children.

#Holocaust

2/
"...it was desirable at the time that platoon leaders were also party members, I entered the party shortly before the outbreak of the war." - Nazi Lt. Drucker, reflecting on his time in a mobile killing squad.

It certainly didn't start that way.
