1.11 establishing a #FeedInTariff to reward distributed micro-gen. Are you sure? They're being phased out elsewhere as their job is done (scaling market to reduce costs of tech). A fair grid import $ might be better?

B: on the line(s). Sector making a 'power' play for public $$$ to 'meet future demand'. Demand is 'created' not met. Energy efficient retrofit to @PHI_NZ @NZGBC standards + vitual power plants 👉lot of demand vanishes. Take the heat out of peak & avoid stranded assets @NZGreens

3.8. Develop mechanisms & timeframes for retrofitting (all?) exisiting buildings to efficient standards. This is a 1 line position but with massive scope, potential (and cost). It really needs to be 'spade-ready' soon & retrofit to @NZGBC homestar equiv or netZero is #skyPie

3.B: using the sun. Cross-ref to distirbuted gen policies. You can literally cook network if don't have the local capacity. Consider local storage or co-located industrial/agric etc consumption? Ask the @iwight @energynetworks @ENA_NZ @EnergySoton
