I have said this before and I would say it again, if you are poor, or you are the son/daughter of poor parents and you listen to these kind of garbage, congratulations on unlocking the next level of generational poverty. It will always end in tears.
For those with a listening ear, a first class degree can definitely give you more than an "average life". If you were diligent enough to study hard and graduate with a first class, you just have to sustain that attitude after graduation and the sky would be your starting point.
