On the day Andrew Cuomo signed the NY abortion bill, my wife and I had an ultrasound and saw our unborn daughter. We decided to boycott NY.
On the day Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed the pro-life bill challenging Roe v. Wade, we had another ultrasound.
At first, I wasn't comfortable with the idea of Alabama not allowing for abortion in cases of rape. But my daughter is a human being worthy of full protection under the law. If she had been conceived in rape, that would not make her any less deserving of protection.
Today, a Planned Parenthood protester came up to my wife. She asked her to support the organization that kills millions of unborn babies just like my little daughter. My wife just kept going, but the very idea of this sickens me.

In 2017, Democrats ran a mailer against Gillespie, tying him and Donald Trump to the white nationalists in Charlottesville. This despite Gillespie's clear denunciation of Charlottesville, much stronger than Trump's original "both sides" statement. /2
