In the parlance of my homeland I am fixin’ to be in SW Portland at our old pal the ICE building for another evening of first amendment expression at the #blacklivesmatter protests here in Portland’s

So this should be like seeing an old friend for all involved, right? Right.

It’s a scene. FedRAD said something but was drowned out by drums and chants and pig toy squeaks.

Traffic cone is somehow arranged to block camera to cheers while feds watch from a window above. FedRAD has mentioned fires twice and there isn’t a soul attempting fires that I can see.

ICE window got cracked and the Feds are assembling inside

Also Portland Police just showed up at the other end of the street and are once more obviously coordinating with the Feds again.

Back at the OCE building and crowd hasn’t disappeared fr what I can tell. Barricades being constructed, the federal cooperators in the PPB are circling.

This happened and is greeted by a “What did you see? I didn’t see shit” chant.

Another good ole fashioned PDX standoff as PPB—who again are obviously collaborating with feds—approach from behind. LadyRAD is def turned way up tonight too.

Wheelchair Champion is back and I just watched two @ICEgov agents have to hold back another guy to keep from attacking WC. The ICE bros had to quite literally physically restrain their pal to keep him from attacking someone in a wheelchair. Many others witnessed this occur.

As PPB chases folks down the street protesters still at the ICE building try a new tactic: disco-ing ICE from the city to Donna Summer’s “I Will Survive”

The gathered begin a “Out of your houses and into the streets” chant but because this is perhaps the most plastic, lousy neighborhood in Portland so don’t think they’ll have many takers.

Heat is holding back for the moment, possibly because they realize this is the one ‘hood in Portland where they won’t be widely reviled and they’re hoping the protesters f up in some big way.

Tables added to fire. Some Neighborhood yuppies aghast, some cheering.

Yuppies tries to chastise Black protester and says “Hey I’m on your side—I’m a Democrat!” This is not well received. Much sardonic laughter. It’s apparent many people in this ritzy ‘hood have been isolated from the protests and more importantly the police violence they oppose.

Here’s more footage of the feds and PPB working together, which @tedwheeler says isn’t happening. Feds came out for initial charge, got as far as they could go and them spelled by @PortlandPolice in obvious coordination.

So much tear gas. Feds just tossing things about.
