In 2011, she tweeted the grotesquely offensive statement below, which was especially disturbing because Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a survivor of female genital mutilation. 
Sarsour has close ties to the Nation of Islam (NOI), a racist, #antisemitic & homophobic hate group, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Sarsour pays NOI members to act as her security detail & embraces their hateful leader, @LouisFarrakhan.

In June, 2020, Sarsour cosponsored a rally which was publicly marketed as "open to all, minus cops & zionists". Given that 95% of Jews support Israel's existence, this is #antisemitic discrimination.
Hatred against Muslims and hatred against Jews are equally unacceptable. While @lsarsour should never face bigotry or harassment, everyone has a right to criticize her for using her platform to spread hate.
