We all knew that. Boredom will make people work anyway.
That's just a fact.
Anyone who thinks people will stay at home doing nothing don't know what it is like to stay home doing nothing.
People don't notice how sometimes doing anything, without the guarentee of your wellbeing and simply the ability of paying rent, is a risk. And it shouldn't be a risk to simply live.
And even if these people don't do anything and just get the money... they're not parasites compared to the ultra rich who get richer by the day by getting obscene amounts of money.
Heck, these people who may not do anything, let's imagine that. These people will still pay for shit, their money is still used to buy goods, they still contribute to the economy, it's not an investment.

The ultra rich spend money in the hopes of getting it back + even more.
Basically I'm just saying fuck capitalism and fuck growth in an economic sense. Human lives are important.
Now let's talk about what the article is about: They paid unconditional 560€ per month to 2000 unemployed people. Some people were like "but it's not UBI" and I'm like "yes it is". Now 560€ doesn't really seem that much, but I can only compare to my level of life in France...
Now they did that to promote employment.
Apparently it didn't work as expected? Or rather it only improved slightly, but people were at least at ease.
Apparently there was unfortunate timing with other legislation stuff with unemployment. Well yeah that probably didn't help if they started to get stricter at the same time (aka punishing people because they can't find a job).
