Both HHS Secretary and FDA Commissioner misled folks about the convalescent plasma study at the press conference. 35% was not CP vs control in any trial. It was CP early vs late. Not a trial! It’s beginning to sound like rushed HCQ drama all over again. #COVID19
2) Moreover the 35% reduction may have also come from the RELATIVE RISK=0.65 (35% lower risk) of death for high antibody CP vs low antibody CP. But it was a CP vs CP, not vs a control. And again, not a trial. #COVID19
