How do you write a cold email that gets people on the phone?

THREAD

FIRST THINGS FIRST.

You need a quantifiable result you can promise your prospects.

If you don't get those results, you're not getting money.

ESPECIALLY if you don't have experience.

So make a guarantee.

Two situations here:

1. You have no work at all, and no numbers.

2. You have a little work, but no numbers.

Let's go over both.

If you have no work and no numbers...

Give an "Ideas" email.

You go over their website, offer specific changes you'd make, and then ask them for a call.

Here's what that looks like...

Hey {{name}}. {{Personalized Line}}

My name's X, and based on your product pages, I've got two ideas on how you could increase conversions:

1. First idea
2. Second idea

Would you be open to a quick call this or next week to see if I can make these changes for you?

The ideas are concrete and actionable.

If they do those two things, their conversion rate increases.

Now would if you have a little work, but no numbers?

Here's what you do...

Hey {{name}}. {{Personalized Line}}

My name's X, and I'm the one who wrote the product pages for X, Y, and Z. Their sales are killin it right now, and based on your site, I think we could make some of the same changes we did with them.

Would you be open to a call this week?

Great.
