Congratulations to a Nigerian born Kaycee Madu @KayceeMaduYEG who becomes Canada's Minister Of Justice.

Madu is the first Black Man to occupy either Provincial or Federal Justice positions of the Justice Minister, Attorney General or Solicitor General.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Madu graduated from the University of Lagos with a law degree in 2001 before his family moved to Canada in 2005.

Madu, who has practised law in both Nigeria and Alberta, was first elected as an MLA in the April 2019 general election.

About a month ago, the Nigerian mission in Ghana got a call on the arrest of 6 Nigerians who were caught at Aflao border trying to enter Ghana,

The Nigerian Consular team was dispatched by the High Commission to go and Intervene immediately, and on getting there, they met with about 30 more Nigerians who were arrested for also trying to enter Ghana through illegal routes due to the border closure. 2/8
The consular team appealed to the immigration officials not to charge the apprehended Nigerians to court.
