THREAD ON MADISON CAWTHORN, REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR NC11: Over the last month, stories and investigations have shown that Cawthorn's self-made identity is a fabrication. He's a fraud. He's accused of sexual assault. He's a liar. He's unfit for NC11.
Cawthorn says he is a "real estate investor." A story by @estherxlwang shows that, per his financial disclosure form, Cawthorn said he "made most of my money in the New York Stock Exchange." There is no job listed.
Cawthorn's real estate company is named "SPQR Holdings LLC." He is the sole employee. SPQR had only one real estate transaction in 2019 when Cawthorn bought a six-acre property in Georgia for $20,000, ostensibly so that he could give himself a job title.
Cawthorn has misled the public about his nomination to the Naval Academy. He suggests that his plans were "derailed" by his car accident, but according to a 2017 deposition his application was already rejected before the accident.
As recently as today, August 26, Madison Cawthorn is *still* using his accident to lie to the public about the sequence of events related to the Naval Academy. In the new ad, he calls himself a "patriot."
Conservative Christians from Patrick Henry College (where Cawthorn briefly attended) have spoken out against and denounced him because of his behavior.
Katrina Aldona Krulikas shared her account of Madison Cawthorn's behavior: "While the media portrays Madison as a role model for Christian, family values, my experience with him leads me to believe otherwise." instagram.com/p/CD1wXmgAJSO/
The DCCC criticized Cawthorn for saying that the Eagle’s Nest, where Adolf Hitler vacationed, was on his "bucket list." He referred to Hitler as "Führer" but called him a "supreme evil." In response to the DCCC, Cawthorn said he will "conquer you." Not his first use of "conquer."
Andrew Knapp, Cawthorn's campaign organizational director, said Cawthorn has not been in communication with the Jewish community in NC11 because "it’s not a particularly large community." jta.org/2020/08/12/uni…
Madison Cawthorn appeared to be a favorite of Brian Kolfage, who was recently indicted for allegedly profiting by "defrauding hundreds of thousands of donors" from his "Build The Wall" campaign.
During his trip to the Texas border wall with Brian Kolfage, Cawthorn "echoed discredited child sex trafficking claims promoted by the extremist conspiracy theory movement" known as QAnon. He denounced QAnon but embraced the theory: avlwatchdog.org/cawthorn-mingl…
During the trip to Texas, Cawthorn posed for photos with Lauren Witzke, a candidate for U.S. Senate in Delaware and a follower of QAnon. Witzke recently said at a rally, "They recycle children. They steal American children. They rape American women."
Cawthorn was photographed with Mary Ann Mendoza, a member of Trump’s campaign advisory board who was disinvited from speaking at the RNC after posting a QAnon-linked, anti-Semitic conspiracy theory about a Jewish plot to "enslave the world." thedailybeast.com/rnc-speaker-bo…
Here is Madison Cawthorn with congressional candidate and QAnon supporter Lauren Boebert. She has said she "hopes [QAnon] is real" because it "could be really great for our country."
Madison Cawthorn recently endorsed Kimberly Klacik, saying, "MORE Republicans like this." Earlier this year, Klacik shared a conspiracy theory about Joe Scarborough @JoeNBC that was floated by Trump.
Cawthorn seems to have caught the attention of Jack Posobiec. SPLC reporter Michael Edison Hayden wrote this: "Posobiec’s extensive ties to white supremacists should serve as a wake-up call for anyone who hasn’t made the connection between Trump’s MAGA movement and hate."
Madison Cawthorn has described his opponent and Democrats in general as "racist" and said, "They want people to be able to get into college with lower grades and lower school scores simply because they are African American." smokymountainnews.com/news/item/2953…
I'm sure I missed a few stories about Cawthorn because a lot has happened and come to light within the last month. If you know of more, please feel free to add to this or share.

UPDATE: Katrina Aldona Krulikas has responded to this thread and lists some of the small details that Cawthorn lied about regarding his experience with Katrina.
Cavuto gives Cawthorn a softball interview, says he doesn't know about sexual misconduct allegations and "most are anonymous" (not true), allows Cawthorn to only comment on one (Katrina Aldona Krulikas') and suggest it's a political hit job.
A group of students from Patrick Henry College have released a statement opposing Madison Cawthorn: "good moral character is the first requirement for anyone seeking to represent the American people, and Cawthorn falls short of that standard." #ncpol#nc11
Caitlin Coulter (@PureWater95), who went to Patrick Henry College with Madison Cawthorn, said what most affected her is his "record of sexual harassment and predatory manipulation. We have got to stop electing predators to position of power."
"Bunn, who describes himself as a conservative and has written articles for the Federalist, he signed the open letter because he believes Cawthorn’s character isn’t suited for Congress. 'This isn’t just some liberal plot, some partisan plot'" theslot.jezebel.com/former-classma…
Patrick Henry College students speak out on Madison Cawthorn:
"Being called a bitch, or a slut. Being sexually assaulted."
"I watched him lie about his past from our chapel stage without batting an eye."
"Cawthorn is the definition of an immoral private citizen."
"A new attack website put up by the Madison Cawthorn campaign includes an explicitly racist broadside against his opponent, Moe Davis (D-NC), for associating himself with people who want to 'ruin white males.'"
After Cawthorn lied about an endorsement from the Patrick Henry College Alumni Association, the association says they didn't endorse him, nor do they endorse any candidates.
Cawthorn: "Accusing people who have a different political philosophy of being racists [...] degrades our public square and underminers (sic) our ability to solve problems."
On November 3, Cawthorn was confronted at a polling location by a former Patrick Henry College student (@NonNumberChar) "to name his victims to his face."
On the night of November 3, after the race in NC-11 was called for Madison Cawthorn, his first instinct was to tell his communications director, Micah Bock, to tweet "Cry more, lib." after campaigning on "healing the partisan divide."
In an interview, Cawthorn said he is a "lover of history" and that the Emancipation Proclamation was voted on (it wasn't). The interview also mentions a quote from a sermon of his: "If you have Jewish blood running through your veins today.."
On November 3, when Cawthorn was confronted by a former student at Patrick Henry College (@NonNumberChar), his communication director, Micah Bock, admitted that Cawthorn did what he has been accused of.

After the Reopen NC protesters failed to follow the co-founder's advice to maintain social distancing so as to not "distract" from their message, the co-founder says she is proud of the protest today and pushes for more action.
