It all borders on man’s inhumanity to man beginning with a Suleja, Niger State case of a man who bit off his wife’s ear. All attempts to reach the @PoliceNG CP in Niger State proved abortive. @PoliceNG_CRU @Tamarsarcwacol @MirabelCentreNG @WARIF_NG @SIAF_NG 🚨 
The second matter is so disheartening. There was a report of robbery in Omole phase 1 Estate & when Ojodu @PoliceNG station was called in, they went straight into an office building where two tech engineers were working on a deadline to abduct them as often done after the fact.
All attempts to talk sense into these inebriated and obstinate rogue officers proved abortive. They knew they were apprehending innocent citizens who were not only unarmed but were simply working into the nights in their private office within the estate. I heard them on phone.
Upon receiving the distress call, we altered the state command and @ElkanaBala responded while we monitored the situation. Despite the landlord association’s clarifications that the robbers were injured by the vigilante & had no shirt on, police insisted on keeping the abducted.
The Ojodu rogue unit insisted that bail is NEVER free knowing fully well that they just wanted to use this unprofessional raid to extort. The DPO has been missing in action and the impunity of the officers in charge shows the culture of the station. This must not go unpunished.
So innocent citizens working in their offices are no longer safe in our society even in a state as exposed as @followlasg? Since 2am these boys had been abducted for nothing and kept in cells for a crime them know nothing about despite the clarification of the petitioner!
We hereby call on the CP and the FHQ to empty out the rogues at Ojodu Police station if they have become too powerful to abide by the law of the land. Constitutional breaches and human rights abuses again us all as a people. This is madness! #EndImpunity @frankmbablog
