2) For March-July, 8 kids out 100k people (not just cases) were hospitalized for COVID, and highest among young kids, but also sizeable proportion of total Covid hospitalized were also teens. (From CDC MMWR report cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/6…) 
3) And just who suffers the most COVID hospitalizations? MINORITY kids. Hispanic & non-Hispanic black (black) children had higher cumulative rates of COVID-19–associated hospitalizations (16.4 and 10.5 per 100,000, respectively) than did non-Hispanic white (white) children (2.1).

6) I want to clarify that the 1 in 3 ICU, 1 in 17 ventilator, and 1 in 208 who died (post #4 above) are all among kids who were hospitalized. The CDC report is an analysis of early hospitalized children COVID cases.
