THREAD: By campaigning in-person, indoors, and without masks, the @mngop & Trump's team are putting lives at risk.

Recently, the @mngop embarked on a near-maskless tour across Minnesota with multiple crowded, indoor events.

This is dangerous and must be condemned #mnleg #mnpol

Here are a few photos from the @mngop's recent bus tour.

They show just how easily COVID-19 could be spread by the actions of Minnesota Republicans. Looking at these photos, you wouldn't know we're facing a pandemic that has killed over 180,000 Americans.

Earlier this week, the White House's top COVID-19 advisor, Dr. Birx, warned Minnesota that our infection rate is growing dangerously high.

Minnesota Republicans do not care. Their reckless, foolish, and dangerous behavior is putting lives at risk.

The simple truth is that the @mngop and the Trump campaign are willing to risk your life to win a campaign.

If events like these have not led to hospitalizations or worse, it is only because most Minnesotans are willing to make sacrifices to save lives and slow this virus.

We all want this virus gone. We want our businesses fully open, we want our schools to be in-person, we want to be able to hug our loved ones, to see friends, to go to concerts, and live our lives like we used to.

That won't happen by itself. We all have a part to play.

Unfortunately, Minnesota Republicans and the Trump campaign are not willing to share the responsibility to halt the spread of COVID-19.

If everyone behaved like them, Minnesota would be a COVID-19 hotspot. The virus would tear through our state. More people would be dead.

The Minnesota Republican Party’s behavior here is shameful, it’s dangerous, it’s an insult to everyone who is working to get this pandemic under control, and it could get people seriously hurt or killed.

We deserve better than a political party that would trade lives for votes.
