So far, interim recommendations of #DayCommission #DirectProvision have not been implemented. No indications from @merrionstreet that these are in the process of being implemented. This cannot be left until the White Paper due in December 2020 @HMcEntee @rodericogorman

If clear recommendations of the #DayCommission #DirectProvision are not in the process of being implemented 3 months after being made, this does not bode well for (i) #DayCommission final report nor (ii) the White Paper.

Political landscape on #directprovision has seemingly shifted fundamentally since June 2020. But massive caution, successive government members (since 2000) who called those demanding #EndDP 'naive', 'unrealistic', 'not living in the real world' etc have majority in this Govt...
