First, we need to do more. They shouldn’t have to ask the Twitterverse, they should be able to trust getting help directly and quickly. And it should be clear who to ask for what. 1/n
The helpfulness can’t have “business hours” or the business should adjust their hours to meet these needs.
Because answers they get should be accurate! 2/n
Students need this. We can’t tell them to “adult” if we aren’t ready to serve their needs. I’m an adult & I still have questions 3/n
They need enrollment services help. Financial Aid and Housing help, etc. Thankful for @FinancialAidUWG @uwghousing for being very active this year! But we need more. 4/n
Equally disturbing is seeing the parties (please 😷 or just don’t) and the hmu to do your schoolwork 😢 5/n
Except for the hair, nails, & lashes #UWG tweets there is literally an actual department or entity who is supposed to help you with these things. I wish they were all here. 6/n
There’s so much here to help you. We need to communicate this all better! 7/n
And I’m thankful for folks like @UWGAuxServices @emilykayehall who help me answer questions at all hours 🥰
I also built a Twitter list of #UWG folks years ago you can find it on my profile. /fin (I lost count)
