Too many people make excuses about bs for where they are. They blame any and everybody they can for their struggles. But if you knew what some us made it from in one of the worse cities in this country, you'd know why we don't care for these bullshit excuses.
There's no time for it, either put up or shut up. Miss me with the victim mindset because those closest to me never had it. We believe in this thing called accountability, but it starts at home. Oftentimes that's where the ball is dropped. It's up to you to Pick it up and run
Sidebar story: one of my guys was deep in gang life. At 17 y/o was shot point blank in the neck. Police and fire saved him, he was in a coma for sometime. Changed his life, joined the military at 18. fast forward 15 years later, Master Sgt in the Air Force, Lieutenant on Atl FD!
You cannot tell me that a black man can't become something if they set their mind to it! And that goes for any man! This country, this great country makes stories like these possible! And anyone who thinks otherwise is being misled. Period
This post isn't even a political posts, it's truly about setting your mind to something and doing it. Everyone in the photo is of different political backgrounds and it's still all love because for the most part, all of our values line up with one another. I'm all about unity
All about togetherness and all about loving despite differences. The ones with the problem with the message need to learn this.
