In 1989 #JackKirby collaborated with sculptor Glenn Kolleda to produce a limited run statue of his Jacob piece. An interesting example of both his religious work and his artistic desire to experiment ImageImageImage

This is the last piece of religious art by #JackKirby I can find. It might be my favorite. Image

The last few Captain America issues have been much more like the first 12 issues than whatever was going on with Coates for a while. The art is serviceable but not great, but the story is much more interesting and taps into the paranoia and dread that made the first year so good
It’s interesting to read Steve Rogers written by a black man—well meaning but also full of blind spots. A part of the system while at odds with it, trying to somehow justify it and reform it simultaneously.
There’s a sense throughout this whole run that there is no larger vision of America for Steve to represent, so what does Steve do from there? Using Hydra Cap as a building block was a surprising and seemingly weird choice but makes so much sense in our current world.

I did not like this issue but it might be some of Bagley’s best work ever. He really knows how to display Peter’s emotions without big cheats with the eyes. Stark use of shadow sets the mood well for the (dumb) conflict and he is just phenomenal at Spidey action ImageImageImageImage
That every other spider person is convinced that there is no downside to the crazy guy in the ski mask turning the bad guys into docile dopes and Peter should let him do it to Norman is a hard sell, for me
Also didn’t Miles only RECENTLY have a major traumatic experience in regard to taking visions of the future literally I mean you’re gonna dig deep into continuity and yet forget a significant Miles story?

Do X Men 12 and X of Swords make sense if you read Excalibur or is it supposed to be full of things that haven’t been referenced before
I missed the FCBD issue maybe that will help
This is a genuine question not trying to be critical

Tried to subtly use some of the new @Procreate glitch effects in the lighting on the focus and the background lighting think it looks pretty cool

I want to be able to create this line up in the next couple years (plus Dino Thunder red) Image
Also I’m only 2 figures away from Tommy’s 5 canon morphs (I am not including Drakon who, while cool, is not canon). Art by Jorge Corona (lines) and Gabriel Cassata (colors) Image

Rise of Kyle Ren gave me none of the story about Ben Solo I wanted to read.
Thinking about this more and getting mad. Covers the least interesting part of the story, AFTER he destroyed the temple(how he do dat) but before he becomes a full acolyte of Snoke.
Past that, it makes no clear case for what took Ben down the dark path or what his motivation is. He already made the commitment. What I wanted to see is how Snoke/Palpatine groomed him and planted the seed that led to his blow up with Luke.
