Six Chinese citizens believed to have engaged in espionage or foreign interference in #Australia on behalf of the #CCP have either been denied re-entry into the country or have left after being questioned by intelligence agencies theaustralian.com.au/nation/politic…
-Chinese scholar and media commentator Chen Hong
-Australian studies scholar Li Jianjun
-Australia bureau chief of China News Service Tao Shelan
-China Radio International’s Sydney bureau chief Li Dayong
- 2 other unidentified 'journalists'
"It is understood the four journalists were not spies inserted into Australia, posing as reporters, but journalists who had become engaged in espionage or foreign interference."
The case is reportedly linked to the #Moselmane raids. Those banned were involved in a “friendly chat group” with him.
The bans/questioning reportedly occurred in late June and July
Four Chinese “journalists” raided by #ASIO were part of a #Communist Party propaganda operation in Australia, influencing local Chinese-language media and reporting to #Beijing on members of the Australian-Chinese community. theaustralian.com.au/nation/politic…
One of them, former Sydney Xinhua bureau chief Yang Jingzhong, was not linked to the #Moselmane case.
Australia is trying to present the #CCP attempt to detain their journalists this week as specific retaliation for these ASIO raids... over a month ago.
Pathetic.
Australia slowly but surely beginning to crack down on #CCP activities.
@annikasmethurst breaks the story that Australian Federal Police raided apartments belonging to CCP embassy staff in May.

If India and Pakistan can avoid a nuclear exchange, anyone can, and North Korea, e.g., will nuke South Korea (and use biological and chemical weapons) in the event of conflict regardless of the South's possession of nukes.
Nukes aren't a magical answer, but if you've got the infrastructure, know-how, and money, unclear to me why you wouldn't at least become a nuclear threshold state as a theoretical deterrent to nuclear coercion/threats.
Rules are different for nuclear powers, and everybody knows it [Pakistan has been treated with kid gloves for decades despite its behaviour, partially for this reason].
Seems the "Georgian Legion" that basically kicked off what became NAFO was a scam, one I promoted and to which I donated and got my friends to donate significant amounts of money.
Al-Qaeda (Al-Shabaab) has reversed all Somali military gains in central Somalia over the last 2 years and is working with the IRGC (Houthis) to enhance capabilities.
