Running an offer or looking for a boost in sales?

Say no more.

You can't go wrong with S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
- Scarcity
- Urgency
- Consistency
- Customer's Results
- Endorsements
- Similarity
- Social Proof

Beautiful, isn't it?

Let's take a look at each one of them
1/ Scarcity

You have seen this one EVERYWHERE.

The famous "Only 5 copies available" or "limited edition".

The fewer offered, the more valuable they become.

Go scarce or go home.
2/ Urgency

Probably the most used around.

Scarcity's twin brother.

"This offer only runs up until midnight."

Time is your enemy.

Buy now or regret paying more later.

One of the brightest minds in Twitter belongs to @shl.

Sahil is a master of product building and value creation.

For it, he must know how customers behave as well.

I dug into his tweets looking for gems.

And yes, I found them.

Here are 7 lessons by @gumroad's founder 👇
1/ Trust First, Sales Second

You won't build an audience just by sharing your affiliate link.

Trust precedes sales, 100% of the time.

- Share your expertise
- Teach your audience
- Entertain them with stories

Be a friend first, a salesman second.

2/ People Want Specific Solutions for Specific Problems

These days a Jack of all trades has virtually no power.

You want people to remember you when they think of something.

Just like @david_perell for writing or @jackbutcher for visuals.

Stand out.

Alright. You've discovered this side of Twitter.

Now what?

It's time you stop being solely a consumer.

Let the audience building game start!

It's simple. Not easy, but simple.

Here are 6 pieces of advice around it 👇

(1/7)
1/ Short-term players not allowed.

Know that this is a long-term game.

If you are not willing to play by the rules, don't even start.

You won't build an audience overnight.

- Be patient.
- Be constant.
- Be persistent.

It's the only way.

(2/7)
2/ Stick to a theme

Don't go from politics to sports to religion.

When you talk about everything, you talk about nothing.

Give people a reason to follow.

Stick to one main topic & 3-4 subtopics.

Thay way people will know what to expect from you.

To consume is to buy.

To listen.

To subscribe.

And yes, it is also to read.

Books, articles, tweets, you name it.

And to make people read you need to know how to write.

@david_perell is the absolute master of this.

Here are 7 consumer behavior lessons from him:

(1/9)
1/ Stick to ONE big idea

You want to create a factor of uniqueness.

It allows your customer to focus and distinguishes you from the competition.

You don't need 10 features to convince.

Just one properly communicated.

(2/9)

2/ Communication is key

You may have the best product in the world.

And you will not sell it unless you can clearly communicate its benefits.

Remember,

Don't tell people what it does.

Tell people what it can do for them.

You haven't heard this before:

"The key to growing on Twitter is giving out value."

Okay, maybe you have.

But value... What's that supposed to mean?

What's valuable for people?

Here are 6 different ways you can provide it 👇
1/ Teach

Share knowledge from your area of expertise.

That way:
- You'll be giving out value
- You'll be creating trust and authority
- You'll start building an online audience

It's a win for you.

It's a win for them.

It's a win for everyone.
2/ Entertain

- Tell them a story
- Create shareable content
- Talk about a personal experience

Entertain your audience, and in exchange

They will give you their most precious resource:

Their attention.
