Probably not a terrible time for #wmata to be issuing $545 million in bonds.

#wmata significantly under-replaced switches in FY2020 - 22, rather than 72 as planned - in part due to switch procurement issues (which I've heard is ongoing).
#wmata silently canceled its Preventative Maintenance program, and thus track tamping. Unclear if that work got swept up into other programs or what.
New #wmata fare gates are also coming later in this fiscal year (NLT June 2021)

Board reports usually come out on Mondays (or Tuesdays, after federal holidays)

The FY21/FY22 presentation for Thursday is not yet out (it won't be good).

Huh, it's finally here. You can now use Apple Pay for your bus/rail fare.

Android (hopefully?) coming, but no mention of it here. #wmata
A big warning to those that still like to use cards, not their phone to pay:

"Once you transfer your physical card to Apple Wallet, the physical card will be disabled and will no longer work."
