- A male in his 80s from Southern Health
- Female in her 80s from Prairie Mountain
New case breakdown by health region:

• 16 cases in Winnipeg.
• three cases in Southern Health
• two cases in Prairie Mountain Health
• one case in Interlake–Eastern
Additional potential #COVID19 exposures in Winnipeg:

• Planet Fitness at 783 Leila Ave. on Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 3 to 4 p.m.
• 7 Arabian Dreams at 775 Corydon Ave. on Friday, Sept. 18 from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday, Sept. 20 from 12:45 to 1 a.m.
Additional potential Winnipeg exposure:

• Winnipeg Transit, route #14 on Sept. 15 from Ellice Avenue and Spence Street at 11:10 a.m. to St. Mary Avenue at 11:30 a.m.

A brief thread on what Manitoba knew about ICU capacity in May 2021, when the third wave of #COVID19 was getting severe ...
On May 7, Lanette Siragusa of Shared Health told reporters, during a tech briefing, that 129 ICU patients was a "line in the sand."
When pressed further by @stevelambertwpg about whether MB could get to 173 ICU patients, as was suggested during the second wave, Siragusa said that was not realistic.

Anti-restrictions protestors have responded to Winnipeg's mayor.

From their statement:

"We have taken a proactive approach to ensure the protest is both peaceful and respectful. Our Code of Conduct requests trucks and drivers limit noise between the hours of 9 p.m. & 9 a.m."
"During daytime hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., we ask participants to honk for only 2 minutes at the top of every hour, with short intermittent honking also allowed."
