1857 کی جنگ آزادی کے وقت اس خاندان کےسربراہ کا نام بھی شاہ محمود قریشی تھا۔فریڈم فائٹر احمد خان کھرل کی گرفتاری اوربغاوت کو کچلنےمیں انھوں نےانگریزوں کاساتھ دیا تھا۔
سر لیپل گریفن کی مشہور کتاب پنجاب چیفس میں وہ قریشی خاندان کےباب لکھتے ہیں:

1857 میں مخدوم شاہ محمود نے گورنمنٹ کی بڑی اچھی خدمت انجام دی۔ یہ صاحب کمشنر بہادر کو ان تمام ضروری واقعات کی خبر دیتا رہا جو اسے معلوم ہوتے رہتے تھے۔
’ملتان میں بغاوت کرنے والی رجمنٹوں سے ہتھیار چھیننے کے موقع پر مخدوم ممدوح نے معہ اپنے مریدوں کے صاحب کمشنر بہادر کا ساتھ دیا

ان خدمات کے صلے میں مخدوم شاہ محمود کو تین ہزار روپیہ نقد انعام ملا، 1780 روپے مالیت کی ایک اراضی جاگیر ملی، 550روپیہ مالیت کے آٹھ چاہات کنوئیں عطا کئیے ۔ پھر 1860 میں مخدوم کی ذات خاص کے لیے ایک باغ 150روپیہ سالانہ آمدنی کا عطا ہوا جو بھنگی والا باغ مشہور ہے

After getting Government in 2018, as per promise Imran khan led government starts investigating corruption on mass level, unfortunately these investigation were only limited to leadership of political rivals specially PPP & PMLN.

senior leadership of both parties faced jail,court hearings on several fake corruption charges, & many more.
but after a successful APC in 2020,opposition leadership are under severe political victimization by imposing fake corruption Charges on from PTI GOV.
institutions like NAB and others are politically engineered and used as ally against rivals.
some of the corruption charges are “asset beyond need “ & was “Property Declaration” or not paying sufficient “property tax” to FBR.

مریض : "پیٹ میں وَٹ پڑ رہے ہیں۔"
حکیم صاحب نے نبض دیکھی اور سمجھ گئے کہ قبض ھے۔
حکیم : "گھر کتنی دور ھے؟"
مریض : "دو کلومیٹر "

حکیم صاحب نے کیلکولیٹر پر کچھ حساب کیا اور ایک شیشی میں سے کچھ دوائی ایک پیالی میں ڈالی۔

پھر پوچھا : "گاڑی پر آئے ہو یا پیدل ؟"
مریض : "پیدل"

حکیم صاحب نے کیلکولیٹر پر کچھ حساب کیا اور تھوڑی سی دوائی پیالیی سے نکال لی۔

حکیم : "گھر کون سی منزل پر ھے؟"
مریض : "تیسری منزل پر"
حکیم صاحب نے دوبارہ کیلکولیٹر پر کچھ حساب کیا اور پیالی میں سے تھوڑی سی مزید دوا نکال لی۔
