Chris has already done a good thread & analysis on the Twitter reactions after the indictment in #Louisville was handed down yesterday. We have a couple of things to add namely some additional analysis on the phrase "burn Louisville" #BLM #BreonnaTaylor

First alot of the analysis @TAPSTRIMEDIA did shows a high level of astroturfing activity around the hashtags he looked at. Levels of 25% & higher & much of the initial activity stemmed from videos related to this Uhaul dropping off what appears 2b #Antifa related protest signs

Here is the hoaxy analysis for the phrase "burn Louisville" that was also briefly trending on Twitter yesterday late afternoon. The cyborg / astroturfing activity was just over 31%. Normal more organic levels tend to be close to roughly 4% or less. #Louisville #BreonnaTaylor

What was interesting was that much of the major nodes around "burn Louisville" were actually from commenting on seeing it trending. Sort of creating a feed forward loop for the trend. Here are a couple from Trump supporters.

And here are a few from the left. Either commenting that this trend was being pushed by Trump supporters and Putin and to not get sucked into it or to what is likely a larger #BLM supporter saying these incendiary comments were not coming from true #BLM protestors in #Louisville

In a way all the conversations about inorganic activity both coming from the left & right ended up in some ways exposing and tapping down some of the more incendiary language. So much so, that most of the accounts that likely started the trend don't even show up in the Hoaxy data

Ironically, alot of the initial incendiary tweets about "burning down Louisville" or just "burn Louisville" seemed 2b coming from younger men ... both white & black. Alot of it likely domestic in origin and alot of it could probably qualify as 4chan like sh$tposting #Louisville

There were some like this one trying 2 paint a much bleaker pic on the ground. I think the extent was some trash can fires. And more interestingly there were a number of tweets that are now deleted like this one. Its not clear how many like this may have helped to get it trending

Here are a few more example accnts sending out provocative tweets about burning down Louisville. The last one appears to be a brand new fake account posing as an African American man. But to be clear there are plenty of examples of clearly angry #BreonnaTaylor supporters as well

Lastly there are definitely a few suspect accnts mixed in like this one & we'll try to dig in the weeds a little more .. but I think by and large we as Americans are doing a fine job fighting amongst ourselves and most of the activity involved in this twitter trend was domestic.
