Various Changes in Medical Education from 2019-20 Admission Batch were done by BoG MCI(Which was dissolved, but this is official Gazette from Government of India)

Time Distribution of MBBS Programme & Examination Schedule. (Universal Time Distribution across India)
Now, bcz of Pandemic 1st MBBS Examination is late. So,this will affect 2nd Year of 2019 Batch. Also affect 1st Year of New 2020 Batch.
4/9
This is huge change.
See Subjects of 3rd 1st. Now, all subjects of Final Year will be taught in 3rd Year (Both Theory Classes and Practical Classes) alongwith FM and 3 Subjects of 3rd Year.
5/9
Pattern of Attendance and Internal Assessment.
Change : Minimum 40% in Each Paper(If any subjects have 2 Papers) is necessary to pass any subject.
This passing criteria is huge change.
So,any subjects have 2 papers of 100 marks. Then 40/100 is necessary in both papers.
6/9
With total 100/200.
I think till now, total 50% marks are required to pass any subjects.
Means if Student gets 35/100 and 66/100 then he can pass that subject. But in this pattern Minimum 40% Marks in Each Paper is required along with Total Minimum 50% in that Subject.
7/9
Mark Distribution of Subjects.
Till now, we have 40 or 50 marks papers are there. But in this pattern each subject has 100 Marks Paper (If 2 Papers, then Total 200 Marks)
Also Each Practical has Minimum 100 Marks for every subject.
8/9
Time Distribution of Internship.
Many New Changes you can see here.
Hope this thread will help all Juniors who are in 2019 batch and who will take admission from now onwards.

Regarding "Compulsory Covid-19 Duty to MBBS Students of Gujarat" which was ordered by Gujarat Gov. and Students went into HC for Justice.
Today, Gujarat HC gave Final Verdict in Favour of State Government and also ordered Gov. to provide Basic Necessities. 1/n
Verdict is given by Bench(Headed by Chief Justice).
Some Main Points :
1)State Gov. is badly in need of Corona Warriors.
2)No discrimination on name of Government and Private Medical College Students. If other states can't make it Compulsory,it doesn't mean that Guj. can't. 2/n
3)Regarding MCI letter, Court noticed that it's not applicable to State if State Gov. released its own resolution under Article 162.
This decision is taken by State for Public Interest. So, judiciary can't interfere in this decision of State Government.
