Putting important points in this thread :

1) IMGs, FMGs and Doctors who want to join any PG Courses in country have to go through this exam.

2) 50% (50 out of 100) is required in all 6 Papers to pass… twitter.com/i/web/status/1… 3) NEET PG will be continued for previous batches till NExT will replace it for admission in PG Courses (Will be decided by NMC)

4) NExT will be held May or November or any month decided by NMC.

Various Changes in Medical Education from 2019-20 Admission Batch were done by BoG MCI(Which was dissolved, but this is official Gazette from Government of India)

Many things are changed and many changes are interesting.

1/9 Division of MBBS Years and Subjects :

1st MBBS - 13 Months
2nd MBBS - 12 Months (No Honeymoon Period)
3rd MBBS Part 1 - 13 Months
Electives - 2 Months
3rd MBBS Part 2 - 13 Months

Today Loksabha passed National Commission for Homeopathy Bill & Indian System of Medicine Bill.

Already Passed by Rajyasabha. So,they become Act like NMC now!

Applicable for AYUSH(Homeopathy,Ayurveda and all other courses)

1/2 Major Change for Homeopathy Students,

1)NEET UG
2) National Exit Test(Common Final Year UG Examination) for Licence
3)PG National Entrance Test

Regarding "Compulsory Covid-19 Duty to MBBS Students of Gujarat" which was ordered by Gujarat Gov. and Students went into HC for Justice.

Today, Gujarat HC gave Final Verdict in Favour of State Government and also ordered Gov. to provide Basic Necessities. 1/n Verdict is given by Bench(Headed by Chief Justice).

Some Main Points :

1)State Gov. is badly in need of Corona Warriors.

2)No discrimination on name of Government and Private Medical College Students.If other states can't make it Compulsory,it doesn't mean that Guj. can't. 2/n

3rd (May be Final) Hearing for Petition against #UGCGuidelines in Supreme Court Today from 11 AM.

@advocate_alakh also filed request to put stay on #UGCGuidelines till verdict. So,that no university will take Exams till verdict.

MCI Guidelines :
1)No Promotion for any Batch without University Examinations.

2)For 1st MBBS(2019 Batch) Students :
College will re-open after Guidelines from Central/State. Minimum 2 months time period will be given to complete all course after re -opening 1/n

Colleges have to complete all theory/practical portion within 2 months. Exams will be conducted within next 1 month(After these 2 months)

3)For Final Year Supplementary Exams :
Exams will be taken ASAP by University. Their Internship will be started only after results!

They won't call all students at a time. They will call only where situation is worst and they need more health workers.

As this is against MCI Guidelines ,they released this order on name of Governor. So that no one will ask them!

Various office bearers of @IMA_MSNIndia talked with VC/Faculty Dean of their Universities. Most of them denied to share information about Meeting with MCI as it's internal matter and instructed us to wait for Guidelines from MCI which will be put on Website.

1/2 2 of them(VC/Faculty Dean) told that "Exam Schedule which was declared by University will be same. All Exams are to be held as planned before. No changes in Exam Schedule till official guidelines from MCI."
