Reading "48 Laws Of Power" at midnight yesterday taught me something.

I'll share with you.

On Thursday last week, my cousin got a job from an Agency, to create a video story.

One thing about this cousin of mine is her ability to write thought-provoking scripts.
For some reason, she was scared.

She had never created a video before and she was already overwhelmed.

She reached out to me and first thing I told her was:

"Drop the job, forget it and go chill. Let's talk in the evening.

Remember to FORGET IT!"

She was going to argue and
ask me why.

I threatened her:

"If I must tell you why, you must pay for my time. Forget it and go have some fun."

My cousin has worked with me on several different projects so she obliged.

Evening came and we had our talk.
During the conversation, I asked her to write out, from beginning to end, everything she needed to do to get the job done.

Just an outline.

She did.

I asked her to write down everything that could make this project go wrong.

Everything that could stop her from doing it right.
She did.

(Follow me, I'm headed somewhere.)

Once done with the plan, I taught her something called "work cycle."

I learnt this from Miguel Hernandez, founder of Grumo media.
The process was simple, spend the next 30 minutes working on the project and make as many mistakes as possible.

I was clear on that.

Make all the mistakes and don't even try to correct it.

After 45 minutes, she called me and told me she had done so much work in
that time than she knew she could do.

Here is the lesson in this:

One thing that keeps us from doing things is because we fear we will make mistakes.

It happens with writing or creating anything.

That consciousness of mistakes slows us down.
But once you decide to make all the mistakes proudly, your inhibitions melt away.

Understand that the best works of art are always edited.

No work is created perfect.

Even the best writers, artistes, creators know their best work come from Editting.
Make your first draft as dirty as possible but do it with gusto and gumption.

Now, where is all of this in 48 Laws of Power?

Two Chapters.

One says:

Plan whatever you want to do to the end! Don't always focus on how it will work,

Also consider what will affect it negatively.
The other, which is my favourite is:

Enter action with boldness!

This was the idea around the work cycle.

Start and pour it all out.

Don't start with inhibitions.

You want to write?

Having writer's block?

Plan then enter with boldness, pouring everything out.
Later you can edit, and separate 'guguru from the epa'

Hope this helps you .

Have a great day ahead and crush some goals.

How is it possible that someone gets paid $1,000 for something that another person is struggling to get $100...

... and for the same quality of work?

How can you grow your income and increase your charges?
The answer is in the reputation you build.

How people perceive you influences how much they are willing to pay you.

If they think you are not worth the price, even if you are good at the job, they'll be unwilling to budge.
While you work to become good at your skill, remember you are not the only person with that skill?

Several other people are also trying to get clients.

It is important to position yourself well in your market.

Listen Up,

Let's start the day with some juice.

What service can you offer in 2-3 hours and earn 20k?

Can you think of one?

Yes?

Then you can go on to make 300k-500k this month.

Here's why:
For many people, it is not the lack of opportunity.

It is the fact that you are relaxed.

You are pretty comfortable reading tweets and doing nothing.

Of course, you have promised yourself that you will rake action, but you end up spending hours scrolling.
Imagine you put yourself out there as a pro, offer value and get potential clients reaching out to you.

Take up 10 clients at 20k and you have 200k.

When you build your income to a point where you are no longer desperate about money, you can then raise your fees.

Do You Want To Get The Most Out Of Twitter?

Here are 24 game-changing lessons I have learnt in 24 months of actively using Twitter to network and make money.

Grab a cup of coffee...
1.EVERYONE starts at zero followers.

Every follower you ever have is earned.

So, don't flog yourself about your number.

You can only go up from where you are.

Be patient. It’s not world war
2. Your profile serves as a funnel.

Hundreds, and thousands, of people of check you out daily. (check your twitter analytics)

They'll first read your bio, check your picture and banner to decide if you are worth a follow.

Beat up your profile to hook them once they show up.

When you become really good at what you do...

And you produce masterpieces...

People will copy you.

Don't be surprised when you see it happen.

Here's what you should do instead:
- Continue to grow.

There is nothing sweeter than knowing that you are always one step ahead of the competition.

This is why you must not begin to feel like you have arrived.

Except if you've built a name that is very strong and global

Even at that, growth is the game of life
Continue to grow.

Continue to improve and create better masterpieces.

This is how you shock people with results.

A lot can change in one year.

I mean, so much.

If a lot did not change for you the last one year, here's your message:👇

Cavett Robert said it best when he said:

"Don't be in too much of a hurry to promote, until you get good. Otherwise, you speed up the rate at which the world finds out your no good."

It is important you create a masterpiece before you promote. Here's how in 3 steps.
Step 1: Start with the Market.

People have the answer, tour job is to ask the questions.

The only way to uncover gems in your target market is if you spend quality time with them.

Spend time identifying their pain.

Do deep research.

Do it like your life depends on it.
Be deliberate about getting the answers.

Step 2: Create Solution with your market.

During your research, you will uncover gems.

But the truth is, these gems are just ideas.

And ideas don't come fully formed.
