What is success and how do you get it?

Regardless of what success means to you

it helps to know which ingredients make up success so you know how to recreate your own version of the “success recipe.”

Here are the 7 Ingredients of S.U.C.C.E.S.S

[THREAD]
1. S-ense of Direction

Human beings are goal achieving machines.

If you want to be happy, you must always be working towards a goal or a mission.

The goal itself does not matter.

What does matter is that you're chasing one and that it's significant to you.
2. U-nderstanding

People don’t react to situations. They react to their *unique perception* of situations.

Understanding means being brave enough to see how things *actually* are by zooming out and detaching yourself from the situations you encounter.
3. C-ourage

You can’t be successful without a goal and you can’t achieve a goal without courage.

You’re going to fail. Just accept that up front.

Failing does NOT mean you’re a failure. It means you’re one step closer to winning.

Make courage a habit by doing hard sh!t daily
4. C-ompassion

The reason why most successful people are humble is because the pursuit of success humanises them.

By having the courage to pursue their goals, successful people develop compassion for themselves which leads them to develop compassion for others.
5. E-steem

Esteem means to “appreciate the worth of.”

There is nothing virtuous about holding a low opinion of yourself.

People who hold a low opinion of themselves are addicted to negative self-talk.

If you have low self-esteem, the secret is to appreciate others more.
6. S-elf Confidence

Confidence is built on a latticework of experience.

As you gain more experience, you’ll naturally rack up more successes which leads to self-confidence.

The secret to self-confidence is to form the habit of remembering successes and let go of failures.
7. S-elf Acceptance

Self acceptance is knowing you have weaknesses but that you're NOT your weaknesses.

Be tolerant of your imperfections.

Accept that you are a unique individual and love yourself.

With practice, you’ll come to appreciate, accept and love your unique self.
These success ingredients come from the subconscious programming book, Psycho-Cybernetics.

5 Big Lessons I've learned from reading 100s of Books

and why reading is still the best ROI activity you can do

📕📗📘📙

[THREAD]

👇👇👇
1) "A change in perspective is worth 80 IQ points."

The most powerful books aren't the ones that teach you new skills but the ones that chance your perspective on life.

A new perspective can change the way you live.

That's powerful.
2) Rereading your favourite book is never a waste of time

I've read 100s of books but of those, maybe 15-20 would make my all time favourite list.

The best books have so much wisdom it's impossible to absorb them all in one sitting.

The best books will also...

How I kicked "writer's block" in the ass and threw him to the curb.

If you create any sort of content on the Internet
- emails
- tweets
- blog posts
- articles
- white papers
- e-books
- etc

This [THREAD] will save you.

✍👇
I used to suffer from "writer's block"

I'd sit down to write an email for list, stare at the blank screen and ask myself "WTF do I write about today?"

Eventually an idea would appear and I'd write something that sounded "cool" only to get mediocre results.

Sound familiar?

👇
My error was treating writing as a skill instead of a system 🤯.

I read writing books, did courses, studied authors and wrote A TON.

My writing improved but "writer's block" still haunted me.

It frustrated me for years until I discovered this professional ghostwriter.

The day you became a better writer

(15 quick fire writing tips from multiple NY Times Bestselling author @ScottAdamsSays)

You + this [THREAD} = You will write better

✍👇
# 1 How to know if your topic is good
- It should make your reader FEEL something
- It should be FAMILIAR to your reader

Technique: Imagine you are writing a letter to an invisible friend. Eg Scott imagines he's writing to his brother.
#2 Write for your reader not for you
- Writing non-fiction is not about you or your "passion"
- The idea of writing for yourself is non-sense
- The purpose of non-fiction writing is to persuade your reader

“What’s past is prologue,” is the mantra of the West.

Your past determines your future.

Who you are now is a product of who you were or what you’ve done.

In. The. Past.

Don't believe me?

Try this test 👇
Next time someone tells you about their life and their problems...

Respond with "Ok. Now what?"

"I was bullied when I was a child."

Now what?

"People don't see me for who I really am."

Now what?

"I'm a victim"

Now what?

Watch how angry people get when you...

Every billion dollar business...

Every great work of art...

Every timeless story...

Started as a SIMPLE IDEA in someone's head.

Here is a proven step-by-step technique for producing Ideas

Even if you are "unoriginal" or "never have any good ideas"

[THREAD]

💡💡💡

👇👇
Two things you need to understand about the production of Ideas

1) The production of ideas is just as definite a process as the production of Fords

2) An idea is nothing more nor less than a combination of old elements
99% of people make the mistake in assuming that a good idea has to be completely 100000% original.

This is NOT TRUE.

An Idea is simply creating a new chain of knowledge between 2 existing old elements.

Therefore,

your ability to see relationships that other people...
