Iodine + Selenium increases your metabolism via thyroid activity, so it is highly individual (and varying over time) on what iodine dosage is right for you.
Peat:ers say that Iodine is toxic. Well, do you prefer ultra-toxic Bromide?
When I first started to supplement Iodine I couldn't believe the results. It felt like my metabolism doubled, happiness through the roof, and also more subtle effects like a marked increased connection to nature - I have never felt that from any other supplement.
At the time, I attributed all of that to Fluoride detox, but it's highly likely that Bromide detox played a big part too.
Either way, Iodine + Selenium was the answer for me!
The consensus is that Iodine is needed to produce thyroid hormones, so the RDA is 0.22mg daily
When you increase intake beyond the recommended microdose, you can see iodine being used throughout the entire body. When someone gets lighter eyes, it's because of the white Iodine
I like being at 1-2 mg per day, 5x - 10x the RDA
Some go even higher, one of the studies I linked below talks about 50 (!) mg per day which is 227x the RDA, though this isn't outright recommended, simply mentioned.
Iodine is required in breasts, ovaries and prostate. It balances estrogen and has a strong anti breast cancer effect.
Pregnancy requires a lot of iodine, and deficiency is very common, which has a strong link to IQ.
"Fish makes you smart" maybe isn't just about fats
Note: You don't want to start megadosing iodine out of nowhere in the middle of a pregnancy. Doing stuff like that could displace toxins in your body, which of course isn't good for the fetus.
Have a reasonable high intake, and get a large iodine storage before pregnancy occurs
Here's a list of hypothyroidal symptoms, and think again what it would mean if everyone's iodine was being disrupted..
Here's what Bromide does to you.
In 1980 they replaced the iodine in bread and baking goods with bromide. They thought iodine was dangerous! They got it confused, they found high iodine excretion in urine being linked to thyroid issues..
This was naturally a symptom of high bromide, not high iodine lol morons
If you eat a lot of seafood, you're likely getting good amounts of iodine already. There are basically no sufficient sources of Iodine outside the sea, so you should definitely purchase Kelp, which is dried seaweed powder, which is incredibly cheap and abundant in Iodine.
Selenium: brazil nuts, grassfed beef meat and liver, turkey.. personally I eat 0-3 brazil nuts daily depending on what my gut asks me for.
CO₂ global warming is of course a ridiculous hoax but a real problem is that atmospheric Bromide has increased a *lot* when we burn so much biomass.
Here's a map of global Methyl Bromide emissions.
Now.. all you can do is to avoid chemicals as much as possible, stop eating processed food, start reading the labels on chemicals you use, but the most important part is getting sufficient Iodine + Selenium.

Lineup of faces sorted by masculinity / femininity
Male chickens were taught to rewarded by face #5 and not rewarded by face #3
Female chickens were taught to rewarded by face #5 and not rewarded by face #3
After their training was complete, they were subjected to the full line-up of faces. They obviously understood the facial heuristics of gender, as the chickens preferences continued beyond the trained faces.
The human preferences are "would you like to date this face?"
In 1954, the FDA filed an injunction against Wilhelm Reich; declaring that all Orgone Accumulators must be dismantled, books and lab notes mentioning Orgone burned, and that Wilhelm was forbidden from telling others about how to accumulate Orgone.
(thread)
They never claimed to cure anything. When they treated cancer with Orgone Accumulators, they encouraged everyone to carry on with their regular treatment of radiation with their doctor.
It was all carefully done, scientifically stringent, just some brave doctors trying orgone accumulators as adjuvant treatment, and even if they didn't work, what's the harm?
These weren't quacks selling snake oil cures, it couldn't resemble that from any conceivable angle
