What is it telling us?

School based infections are exacerbating (increasing exponentially) the COVid morbidity rate.

Clear as day! Shut down schools NOW!

Children are spreading COVid everywhere by keeping schools open.

It is a CONSCIOUS & INFORMED choice at this point to greatly increase the spread of this disease and overwhelm the system, OR to shut down schools and ADAPT how we teach children and provide them learning experiences and socialization IN SMALLER BUBBLES.

This CAN NOT BE IGNORED. WE HAVE 4 weeks of data.

Read the chart. Every other area of transmission has stable rates that are manageable.

EXCEPT K-12 SCHOOLS!

Is UCP trying to KILL families with children, creating an orphan social class with lifelong health problems?

Because that is going to be the result if schools are not shut down now.

Most children don’t show symptoms. Few children will strictly adhere to social distancing with family members.

Lack of funding means children are PREVENTED from social distancing in school.

It is a matter of time before doubling creates havoc.

Look at these charts. COVid cases have almost quadrupled in 2 weeks. (3.74)

At 2 weeks Alberta had 66 cases.

At 4 weeks, Alberta has 247 cases.

Every day we wait, more children contract the virus & bring it home.

Look at the map.

It’s concentrated in urban centres.

Has the fact that COVid is being allowed to spread uncontrollably and largely unchecked in the ridings that do not overwhelmingly vote UCP escaped your attention.

Canada has malignant narcissists too.

Trump and Jared Kushner ignored COVid and when the virus was spreading uncontrollably in majority Democratic cities and states, they overtly stated they would not provide federal help, because they were Democrats, not Republicans.

However, allegiance to Q’Anon conspiracies or Dominionist dogma is no pass. Trump, Kushner & Pence ignored them too. Trump administration buried hospital reports, interfered with Centre for Disease Control (CDC), refused to extend additional COVid aid, blocked testing.

There are over 210,000 dead Americans.

It wasn’t negligence. It’s not ignorance or ineptitude.

These are conscious, fully informed choices that the Trump administration made to attempt a herd effect. Three hundred thousand dead are expected before year end. Three months.

That’s what Canadian conservative premiers are attempting to reproduce here in Canada.

Chaos, widespread illness, huge increases in deaths, a state of emergency.

Kenney refuses to make masks mandatory, just like Trump. He refuses to close outbreak sites like Cargill and Kearl because employers might lose money. He refuses to enforce Public Health regulations.

He refuses to spend money on back to school safety strategies and adaptations.

WHAT MORE DO YOU REQUIRE BEFORE YOU REALIZE YOU ARE OBEYING THE COMMAND OF A DICTATOR THAT’S MORE CONCERNED ABOUT FILLING HIS AND HIS DONORS POCKETS WITH PROFITS THAN IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD DIE?

Why? Because premiers have additional powers during a Declaration of Emergency. And corporations want profits, regardless of the mental, physical and health cost to the public.

Because Kenney, Moe, Pallister, Ford, Legault and Higgs are attempting to destabilize the nation. Help CPC get a majority by blaming Trudeau for their inaction and horrific policy choices.

Because the far right needs to be in power to change the Constitution and completely remove human rights.

No one in their right mind would send their children to school in these conditions.

Trust your gut instinct.

The CMOH shut down schools in defiance of Kenney and UCP in March 2020.

He removed her authority to operate independently with bill 10 in April.

STOP SENDING YOUR CHILDREN INTO CONTAGION.

DEMAND UCP CLOSE SCHOOLS AND FLATTEN THE CURVE. HIRE MORE TEACHERS. REDUCE CLASS SIZES OR MOVE TO MODIFIED ATTENDANCE.

SOMETHING OTHER THAN VINDICTIVELY SPREADING A DEADLY VIRUS TO ALBERTA CITIZENS USING CHILDREN!
