Anyone seen a speaking time analysis from the VP debate? If you find one, please post it in the comments to this tweet. #VPDebate
UPDATE: My quick reading of the most recent NBC News speaking-time breakdown has Pence speaking for about two and a half minutes to three minutes longer than Harris, with no additional indication of how aggressively Harris was spoken over by the moderator as compared to Pence.
UPDATE2: One also notes that Harris stayed close to Mike Pence in speaking time only because on certain topics Pence abdicated altogether—like race. Whenever Pence had an issue he *wanted* to discuss, he was able to do so for as long as he wanted. Data journalism misses that too.
UPDATE3: CNN seems to have a different tally than NBC—putting the speaking time as even. Folks should know that Harris spoke for 6+ net minutes *more* than Pence on two topics Pence didn't contest—race and Biden's personal history—and got decimated on time over every other topic.

When Trump finally departs the political landscape, we'll experience a wave of shame over the fact that things got to this point in America. He incited a coup in Michigan, and now that the plot is revealed, is attacking the intended victim. We are witnessing historic obscenities.
All Americans alive today must in some way feel that we've disgraced the generations of brave Americans who came before us. America didn't beat back the British at the Old North Bridge in the town I was born in—Concord, MA—just to sink to this ignominious low under Donald Trump.
We're a *better nation* than this. A better people. We deserve more—and even more importantly, our predecessors marched and fought and died and made great art and built incredible innovations so that we could hold our heads higher than any of us can right now. We are in disgrace.

I really wish the Wall Street Journal had read Proof of Corruption, because all of this info is in the book. I don't know why WSJ is darkly noting what "we knew" prior to today, as readers of the Proof series and this Twitter feed read excerpts covering this data over the summer.
PS/ The COVID-19 timeline—the one thing media *had* to get right prior to Election Day—it got wrong. And it got it wrong because it didn't read its own reporting, as curated and compiled and endnoted in Proof of Corruption, but *Trump's claims* in Bob Woodward's book.

*Amazing*.
PS2/ In fact, the *reason* major media *rejected* the numerous (ironically) *major-media* reports of the Trump White House, Pentagon, NATO, and IDF getting briefed on the virus in November 2019 is because it *disbelieved* its *own reports* establishing that timeline as plausible.

I think the governor's order fairly singled out *idiots*, a class of American of which we find numerous examples in the video below—which features far-right Jews who believe in little of what I was raised to believe Judaism stands for dancing without masks or with masks barely on
PS/ I received a religious education—alongside a public-school, secular one—until I was 16, and I find *zero* commonality between anything I was taught and anything subscribed to by these far-right pro-Trump Jewish communities in New York. I don't recognize their values at *all*.
PS2/ Worse still, by appealing to these fringe communities with beliefs *wholly distinct* from the rest of American Jewry, Trump is permitted to give the impression that he "likes Jews," when there's no actual overlap between his values and those of Judaism as most understand it.

PS/ Broidy has a *lot* to tell federal investigators about Trump's illicit dealings in the Middle East. As with pedophile/now-federal-convict George Nader—one of Broidy's chief co-conspirators—if the feds don't cut a deal with Broidy to get info on Trump, Barr has put the fix in.
PS2/ Today is a day I want to reach out with warmth and appreciation to all readers of the Proof series—who've known this indictment was coming for well over a year and are probably as excited as I am that a key Proof-series figure is being taken down *just* as he deserves to be.
