NOW: President Duterte talks to the nation

PRRD: With the present impasse ngayon sa Kongreso, napipilitan po ako.

PRRD: Ang kwento ko lang naman simple lang. Tayo nagpahalal sa tao kasi gusto natin magsilbi sa ating bayan. 'Yung iba naniniwala sa hangarin natin, 'yung iba naman the ever cynic, sabi nila gusto lang natin pera.

PRRD: I ran for President with heart and mind na gusto kong magsilbi and of course in serving I would've wanted to give the best

PRRD: Gusto kong maalala at hindi para sa inyo, para sa aking mga anak na lang at apo, na minsan sa buhay ko tumakbo ako ng Presidente at nanalo ako dahil hinalal ako ng tao

PRRD: Gusto kong makipag-usap sa inyong lahat, tayong lahat na opisyal, not necessarily with congressmen and senators. Ang gusto naman natin talaga magsilbi nang husto.

PRRD: Whether it is a really a work of a few men in Congress or in the cabinet, or other agencies ng ating gobyerno, ang gusto natin iyong tama lang.

PRRD: Ako naman ang gusto kong iiwan 'yung tama. Ako po ay nagpapakatotoo.

PRRD: Now, you would notice dito sa ating bayan na kung magkal****-l**** hindi sila magtanong kung sino ang may kagagawan o responsable for the mess that we are in right now

PRRD: Ang maalala lang nila ay panahon ni Duterte napakabaho. They do not mention si Alan, si Congress, si Lord. Wala. Ang sasabihin iyong administration ni Duterte.

PRRD: Gusto kong maganda ang administrasyon ko sana kung kaya ko rin. Pero huwag ninyo na ako idamay sa away ninyo and in the future people would be asking what happened to the administration of Duterte

PRRD: Kaya nakikiusap ako sa mga kasama ko sa gobyerno, lalo na iyong hinalal, na huwag naman ninyo akong idamay. Ako gusto ko, kayo hindi. Diyan tayo magkakaroon ng problema.

PRRD: Ang gobyerno natin maraming problema. 'Yang COVID na 'yan hindi umaalis sa Pilipinas, matagal na.

PRRD: People are dying, people are sick, people need medicines at marami pang iba.

PRRD: I will not enumerate because alam ninyo kayo nga nag-prepare ng budget nga riyan. I will not sign the constitutional provisions that you have violated ever since. Hindi na ako riyan.

PRRD: Hindi ko talaga maintindihan na mamatay sa ospital sa gobyerno dahil walang medisina

PRRD: Ang Kongreso was generous enough to give us the Bayanihan to Heal as One, lahat ng pera. Wala pa naman akong kalokohang nakita pero huwag niyo sanang sobrahan ang laro sa Congress.

PRRD: Either you resolve the issue sa impasse niyo riyan and pass the budget legally and constitutionally. Kapag hindi ninyo ginawa, ako ang gagawa para sa inyo.

PRRD: Basta sinasabi ko lang, if you do not solve the problem, then I will solve the problem for you. Mamili kayo.

PRRD: Either we have a positive development na maligayahan iyong tao.

PRRD: We always forget that there is something more, higher than just delaying or maneuvering in Congress because everybody wants to be speaker.

PRRD: Gusto ko na ayusin ninyo. If and when I see that there will be a delay and it will resolve the derailment of government service, I will solve the problem for you. Sana maintindihan ninyo ako.

PRRD: We will see in the next few days if there is really something that we can hope for. Kapag wala, then I will do my thing.
