Christianity isn’t all about the knowing but in the doing. It’s in the doing we behold signs, wonders and testimonies that abound.
What brought about the above?
I’ll gist you.
I belong to a group on Facebook called “Praying in tongues” and a young man asked a question.
“I see myself praying in tongues in my dreams but I’ve never been able to speak no matter what”.
I saw quite a few comments from folks but none answered the question. Many quotes scriptures and some said how they received it.
Yet his question remained unanswered.
I dropped a comment and told him to drop a message in my Messenger if he wants it ministered.
From nowhere, many on the platform started attacking my post and saying “Hands do not need to be laid or is anyone needed to pray for him to receive it.
I stated that one of the ways of ministering the baptism of the Holy Spirit is by the laying of hands and also certain doctrinal corrections.
I quoted:
“And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.”
Acts 19:6.
That silenced many of them. The young man eventually reached out on Messenger and I called.
In five minutes after taking him through one scripture; Acts 2:1-4, I prayed for him and commanded him to speak.
The tongues that came out weren’t stuttered which means...
He had it in him but needed a nudge to get him started. The young man said: Hearing you speak has stirred me that I know I would speak today.
Many out there have so much knowledge of tongues but no practical evidence.
You don’t speak but you don’t want someone to help.
It’s the same with those who are quick to criticize the preaching of the gospel yet have never won a soul in their life.
It’s in the doing and not the analysis or dissection or grammar that we have evidences but in the demonstration.
Lastly, if you’re one of those who speaks in tongues but use it only in church, you won’t grow.
Also, If you’re also among those who pray in tongues because you’re asking for something - material things, you’re short changing yourself.
Just worship in tongues.
No requests.
Pay obeisance to Him who sits in the center of the Earth!
Isn’t it glorious to know that you have entered the presence of Him who makes the clouds like specks of dust upon Feet!
My Father! What tongues! What singing in tongues that proceeds from my Spirit just to be called your own and yet have you in Me!
I bless you Lord Jesus!
For ours is the Kingdom
For ours is the Power
For ours is the Glory.
When I came across John 8, I saw something that made me reconsider my life and how I dealt with people.
A woman was brought to Jesus... caught in the act of adultery. Let’s not discuss about the man she was “caught” with or how the men that brought her, found her in the act.

"Sister!!!" She screams "How can you sit idle and look at Ada continue at this age without doing something regarding her marital destiny? She is no longer a child and as the first child, you need to go and LOOK.
She continues
"Heaven helps those..."
"...Who help themselves".
"Do you think I am not bothered at the fact my daughter isn't married at 32? As beautiful as she is?" Her Mummy responds soberly.
"Since you know this, I would suggest we visit someone who can look into her glory and discover the delay".
Her mum becomes silent and ponders if as a Christian she can do such but her younger sister is having none of it and pushes harder.
"Ada's mates are getting married and having children; even her age mates in the village are married and having children".
