DSS officer shot Aleruchi Wobo In Port Harcourt while his kinsmen were protesting the flood crisis in their community On the day he was buried last year, SARS shot dead over 4 persons who had come to bury him.
Dr Ferry Gberegbe, a lecturer with the Ken Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic was shot last year by SARS. He was simply an agent of the PDP during an election.
On the 13th of March 2019, Solomon Yellow, a 27-year-old undergraduate student of the University of Port Harcourt, was declared missing. His family had gone to the operational base of SARS to make enquirers but was told that he was not there.
However, on the 26th of April, SARS operatives dumped his dead body at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital's mortuary.
On the 14th of April 2019, one Benjissy Zaaki Omale, a Port Harcourt-based artist narrated how SARS operatives forced him to cough out 50k, threatening to put him in a cell filled with gays who would rape him if he did not pay.
One Vaughn Itemuagbor, a resident of Port Harcourt was arrested in May 2018 by SARS, forced to admit that he was a yahoo boy and asked to pay N500k or be shot dead.
Last month, 20-year-old Daniel Chibuike Ikeaguchi was shot dead by the police in Port Harcourt.
A mechanic, Chima Ikwunado was in December 2019 tortured to death by the police.
On November 23, 2018, at Nembe Waterfront, 53-year-old Owunari Douglas was killed during an alleged raid by some officers of Nigeria Police in his home.
18th of April 2019, Precious Nyebuchi aka Lil Wayne was stabbed to death by a police officer of IRT at Elimgbu PH. He was the only son of his mother. As the community protested his killing, police shot and killed Precious Gladstone aged 13 and one Turuchi who was 27years.
On the 12th of June 2018, a boy identified as Oge drowned in Elechi River in the Diobu area of Port Harcourt while evading police arrest.
Godday Alali was arrested by police officers on 2nd August 2017 at his residence. After he was charged to court on 7th, September 2017, he died in police custody on 8th September 2017.
On the 25th of August 2020, Ledisi Kote was shot by the police in front of his sick father in K Dere community of Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State for impregnating a girl.
On 1st of June 2019, one Victor, personnel of the IGP monitoring unit stationed in Aluu, shot and killed 21-year-old, Daniel Agori in the presence of his mother.
