پریس ریلیز : ویڈ یو شیئرنگ ایپلیکیشن ٹک ٹاک پر غیر اخلاقی / غیر مہذب مواد کے خلاف معاشرے کے مختلف طبقات کی شکایات کے پیش نظر، پی ٹی اے نے ٹک ٹاک کو بلاک کرنے کے لئے ہدایات جاری کردی ہیں۔

پی ٹی اےکی جانب سے ٹک ٹاک پر متواترپوسٹ کئے جانے والے مواداورموصول ہونے والی شکایات کی نوعیت کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے،ایپلیکیشن کو ایک حتمی نوٹس جاری کیا گیا تھااور غیر قانونی آن لائن مواد کے حوالے سےجامع طریقہ کار وضع کرنےکےلئےاتھارٹی کی ہدایات پر عمل کرنےکےلئے کافی وقت بھی دیاگیاتھا

تاہم،ایپلیکیشن ہدایات پر پوری طرح عمل کرنے میں ناکام رہی، لہذا، ملک میں ٹک ٹاک ایپلیکیشن کو بلاک کر نے کے لئے ہدایات جاری کر دی گئیں۔

ٹک ٹاک کو مطلع کیا گیا ہے کہ اتھارٹی اس فیصلے پر اس صورت میں نظرثانی کر ے گی اگر ٹک ٹاک کی جانب سے غیر قانونی مواد کے لئے اطمینان بخش طریقہ کار وضع کیا جا ئے گا.

In view of number of complaints from different segments of the society against immoral/indecent content on the video sharing application TikTok,

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued instructions for blocking of the application. Keeping in view the complaints and nature of the content being consistently posted on TikTok, PTA issued a final notice to the application

PR: With reference to taxes applied on the recharge/reload of prepaid balance.

it is stated that Cellular Mobile Operators are deducting
only Withholding tax & General Sales Tax/Federal Excise Duty on the prepaid recharge/reload after restoration of taxes by the honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan from April 2019.

On the recharge of Rs.200, balance provided to the user is Rs.177.778 (and not Rs.152 as reported on the social media) after deduction of Rs. 22.222 against withholding tax@
12.5%.GST@19.5% is applied on per call, SMS, data usage basis or opting for any additional bundle/package

تاہم، یہ بات سامنے آئی کہ وی آر جی نے قانونی فریم ورک اور لائسنس کی شرائط کی خلاف ورزی کرتے ہوئے، ریگولیٹر کو بدنام کرنے اور ریگولیٹری فیصلوں پر اثرانداز ہونے کے لئے میڈیا میں باقاعدہ ایک مہم شروع کر دی ہے ۔

پی ٹی اے نے عام عوام کوآسان موبائل اکاؤنٹ اسکیم (اے ایم اے) کی فراہمی کے لئے ٹی پی ایس پی لائسنس یافتگان کو کئی ماہ سے جاری اجلاسوں اور بحث و تمحیث کے ذریعہ تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز کے مابین تکنیکی اور مالی امور کے حوالے سے تمام تر سہولیات مہیا کیں۔
