There are 7,383 State Legislative seats.

Flipping .67% of them (roughly 50) would win us chambers in TX, NC, IA, MN, MI, AZ and more.

So for the next 50 days I'll be highlighting candidates and giving them each $5 to help raise awareness for their campaigns.

🚨YOUR GUIDE TO VOTING IN A PANDEMIC WHEN TRUMP IS TRYING TO STEAL THE ELECTION🚨

Here's a comprehensive list of the pertinent voting details for EVERY state.

Registration deadlines, early voting, mail-in.

It's ALL here.

Now let's talk strategy.

1/6
projects.fivethirtyeight.com/how-to-vote-20…
PRIORITY #1

If your state offers early in-person voting and you are healthy/careful enough to do so, VOTE EARLY IN-PERSON.

This is the best way to make sure your vote is banked while lessening the strain on the Post Office.

BONUS: You get to avoid Election Day crowds.

2/6
PRIORITY #2

If you must get your ballot by mail and you need to request it, REQUEST YOUR BALLOT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (unless it's being sent automatically).

Do NOT wait to request it.

It might not be delivered to you in time for you to mail it back and have it be counted.

Wow, Elizabeth Warren is not sugarcoating her feelings on the ugliness she and others received from some Bernie supporters, and is not absolving anyone over it.

It underscores what a huge problem that behavior has become - fairly or unfairly - for the Sanders campaign.

#Maddow
Notable is Warren’s terse description of her conversation with Bernie about that behavior:

“It was short.”

To be fair she also said she considers Bernie a longtime friend.

But the bad behavior of some of his more fervant supporters has clearly strained things.

#Maddow
I wouldn’t be surprised if it played a part in Warren’s decision not to endorse upon withdrawing, like other candidates did.

And it serves as a good reminder:

Karma exists in politics.

If you go too far, it may come back to bite you.

Wow, Donald Trump just got booed out of the building, into his limo, onto Air Force One, and back into the White House residence.

Even the majority bro crowd at #UFC244 hates this guy’s guts.

And here’s another angle of Donald Trump getting a taste of the real world at #UFC244 in Madison Square Garden:

And please enjoy another angle of Trump getting booed at #UFC244, complete with a wonderfully audible “F*CK YOU!!!”

I think one can be in favor of an official impeachment inquiry while also respecting the dilemma Nancy Pelosi faces.

She knows that Donald Trump is a criminal, yet she needs to hold on to the House in the next election.
Nobody fought harder than Speaker Pelosi to take back the House.

She knows that a Democratic House is all that stands in the way of the right-wing destroying this country for a century in this era of Trump.

With climate change and healthcare these are life-and-death stakes.
And right now Speaker Pelosi foresees a plausible future in which the impeachment of Donald Trump backfires on Democrats and results in Donald Trump's re-election, a Republican House, a Republican Senate, and a 6-3 Supreme Court.

It's a frightening thought.
