-The inquest report did not indicate the homicidal injuries on the body of Abhaya.
-The material evidence in the case was destroyed and the clothes were not examined.

-The crime scene was tampered with or material physical evidence was not collected from the crime scene.
During the initial inquiry the post-mortem, chemical examination and laboratory report also had been erased

(4/s) A writ petition was filed by human activist in HC and the case was handed to CBI in 1993.
Inn1996, CBI submitted a final report and said can't establish suicide or murder.

The same drama is going on now with Sushant's murder.

(5/s) report was not acceptable so a 2nd CBI team was formed, which concluded the case as homicide, but couldn't establish the predators, court rejected the report again and a third CBI team was formed. It was said medical report was influenced.
