Strictly “producing” and never “consuming” is EXTREMELY overrated and possibly a MASSIVE disadvantage.

My best ideas come from diving into random topics and learning a lot about them.

1. Helps me get new ideas & angles

2. Helps me uncover new opportunities
There’s a reason @ComedicBizman

Talks about

Going through periods consuming as much as you can and then disconnecting and consuming nothing.

IT BREEDS IDEAS AND $$$$
There’s a reason @FrazzleDazzzled

Talks about

Experiencing lots of different avenues in life and using it to fuel your writing.

IT GIVES YOU AN UNIQUE ADVANTAGE AND $$$$
So long story short.

Methodically increasing your consumption can make you LOTS of money.

Why is it feel like everyone’s first dropshipping store is pet related?
My first stores

• dog store (never launched)
• camping store (lost $150 on fb)
• dainty travel jewelry (travel bloggers wouldn’t work with me)
• baby clothes (made my first two sales, lost $100)
• slim wallet (made my first $30k)

Should I post some of my first ads?
Posting these so you know what’s UNACCEPTABLE.

I ran ads to these, lost every time.

But I committed to spending $500 per month until I figured it out.

I eventually figured it out a little ;)

Do you know how many fitness Youtubers are making $10,000 per month with a crappy pdf and website?

HELP THEM.
Build relationship.

Optimize their funnel.

Use paid traffic.

Charge a % of profit.

You’re welcome.
Building the relationship.

Cold outreach, private message, etc.

Genuinely try to help them.

You can have 2 million followers and your clothing brand can still flop.

It’s not about how many followers you have, it’s about how many followers care about YOU and YOUR MESSAGE.
You can’t be a regular joe with 500 half engaged followers and try to start the next VLONE, HBA or YEEZY merch.

You need massive CLOUT to MAYBE pull this off.

Much easier option is creating a specific brand for a specific person.
AKA

Your followers all like baseball.

So what you should do is create baseball culture themed:

hats
socks
backpacks
t-shirts
hoodies

BUT STOP CREATING RANDOM STUFF BECAUSE OF “MuH VISiSion”

How to keep your idea muscles nice and strong:

1. Join niche Facebook groups about specific subjects/groups of people

Get narrow. Don’t just join meme pages, join pages/groups centered around retiree communities.

Specific groups of people = specific problems.
2. Once a week login and look at what everyone is talking/joking about

Study the consistent themes and the lingo.

Engage in the comments and start some conversations.

This is the fastest way to understand them on a deeper level.
3. Make notes of the pains they want solved.

Certain jokes will be a consistent theme meaning that the root of it is a big deal.

Retirees always making jokes about how their kids and grandchildren don’t come visit?

Massive emotional issue there aka extremely profitable.

It seems like finding products to sell is the hardest thing ever....

In reality it’s sooooo easy.

Thread time?
You need to stop scrolling through Aliexpress.

Scrolling through Aliexpress looking for PRODUCTS is not a winning research strategy.

Profitable brands are built from knowledge of MARKETS.
Market research isn’t as easy as scrolling through an online marketplace.

It’s studying what people

> are scared of becoming
> are scared of not becoming
> love spending their money on
> love spending their time doing
