CM Sri KCR has announced Rs.10,000 financial assistance to each of the households affected by the floods in Hyderabad. Hon’ble CM lamented that people had to face severe hardships due to heavy rains and assured them all the support.
The financial assistance would be offered from Tuesday. A compensation of Rs.1 lakh will be given to people whose houses were fully damaged and partially damaged houses to get Rs.50,000: CM KCR
Hon’ble CM exhorted the officials to repair the damaged roads and restore other infrastructure on a war-footing and bring normalcy. Announced that Rs.550 crore will be released to Municipal Administration Dept for the relief and restoration efforts.
Hyderabad had witnessed the highest rainfall in a century. People had to go through severe hardships. Poor and marginalised sections, slum-dwellers and those living in low-lying areas bore the brunt. It’s the fundamental duty of the Govt. to stand by them: CM
Ministers, MLAs from Hyderabad, Mayor, Dy. Mayor and Corporators of Municipal Corporations shall take part in the relief efforts of the Govt. treating this as their principal duty. Govt. is ready to help all the people irrespective of the number: CM
Instructed the Collectors of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri to start extending the financial assistance from Tuesday. Exhorted the CS to Govt. to form 200-250 teams and oversee the distribution of the assistance.
