@BrianPallister + @TravelManitoba just put out an RFP on how to start privatizing our provincial parks.

Public parks are to *preserve* nature, not be a revenue source. Shame on them for disrespecting our province this way.

➡️ "Investment and divestment requirements for existing infrastructure assets."

➡️ "What assets should be divested?"

TL;DR

➡️ Park services will be cut
➡️ Parks will be more expensive
➡️ Gov't jobs will be cut
➡️ Parks won't be owned by the public + protected for future generations

(👆🏽 That last point should really worry you)

Shame on @BrianPallister and @TravelManitoba for doing this.

What can you do to protect our provincial parks for future Manitobans?

➡️ Email the people involved (DM for emails)
➡️ Post on social media
➡️ Call your MLA's office
➡️ Talk to everyone you know about this

As I keep saying: Manitoba deserves better.
