Because of #FamilySeparaton my client lost her 2 young daughters (6 and 8) to ICE, after BP wrenched them from their screaming mother. It took a trip to federal court to reunite them. 1/

Because of #FamilySeparation my 8 yo client was stranded in the US, alone without family or friends, with no voice, in an internment camp, after his father was deported without him. It took a trip to federal court to have his father returned to the US & reunited with his son. 2/

Because of #FamilySeparation my client was deported without her 6 yo son. It took a trip to federal court, and a trip to Guatemala, before we could deliver the child to his mother. 3/

The above is what BP calls "processing" - children in one cage, men in another, women in a third - while they complete government paperwork. This can take days. Imagine seeing and hearing your child cry out for you, & being unable to comfort her, trapped in cages like animals.

This is also the scene where DOJ claimed to an appellate court that the provision of soap and dental supplies for the caged children was not legally required. The lawyers failed to tell the court that this scenario also fits well into its "child terror is the point" policy.

"The appraisal district estimates that Neuhaus owes $434,773 in 2020 property taxes for the two plats of riverfront property on which he allowed Fisher Sand & Gravel to build the private border wall in January."

This is an eye popping increase from the estimated $8,000 in taxes that Neuhaus, a sugar planter, previously paid. Yet, "(t)he assessed amount was based on border wall miles & structure that had been built as of Jan. 1, which was only 38% of the project that was later completed."

That means Neuhaus is looking at next year's tax bill of over $1M. Essentially, his collaboration with Bannon & We Fund the Wall grifters has rendered his land worse than worthless - it's now a $1M liability. Which is what happens when you publicly boast that $42M was spent...
