Hi bro. So let me share a good news. I finally stepped up from 5 schls to 8 schls🤣. Call it aggressiveness😁. 2 ivy league, 4 other top tier, & 2 at all at all

each. I actually applied for them. One was via mail, the other was an essay and my bank statement as support via their application fee waiver portal
One supervisor/prof from one of the at all at alls hustled waiver for me. $80.

consistently in touch with a supervisor, I think they get easily attached emotionally, and might do somebody a favour like getting a waiver for you even if it's not available for international students. Imagine, I'm collaborating with one on a manuscript atm.😊
