It’s ironic that the mayor announced a poll watcher task force to guard against voter suppression from Trump or the proud boys or something today... considering he is the one who stands accused of actually suppressing #NYC votes in 2018. (1)

Recall, in her first big action, she sent out 400,000! Letters to folks telling them they were listed as an “inactive voter,” many to people who regularly voted. Allegations of voter suppression ensued. (3) nytimes.com/2018/10/16/nyr…
Myself and many Democrats were outraged. The admin said they were just reaching out to folks who “could be” inactive... but, where did they get this list, who were they targeting? Why? Many of these folks were frequent voters (4) nypost.com/2018/10/16/new…

So to clear this all up. We asked for the lists and how they got em... after all, it’s public info. They refused, so we FOILed the data. 2 years later. They haven’t complied, and yesterday sent us this to keep that info secret. 
But yea, now he is telling us Trump is organizing supporters to go into “lower income, immigrant communities” in #NYC to intimidate and suppress voters. Only he can be trusted to stop this. This isn’t happening, yet the press just gobbles it up. What about his own suppression?
