After waiting for over 72hrs for victims of Lekki incident to be identified despite the call by @jidesanwoolu@BBCWorld & many more, I am compelled to begin to string events together in an effort to make sense of what actually happened
My hypothesis is that Lekki incident was a display of a well rehearsed script, directed by a very talented director.
Why did I said this? 1. It's over 72hrs & we still don't have the identity of the victims. Could it be because they don't exist?
2. The only eyewitness to the arrival of the so called military was a foreign journalist who claimed to see people arriving on bikes & started shooting sporadically. Though she didn't back up her claim with any video, I will assume she is right because nobody has contradicted her
3. The video that was widely shared, that showed the soldiers shooting has been widely dismissed as either doctored or badly directed movie scene. I won't go into detail analysis in this thread but I will willing to explain if anybody ask
4. Another eyewitness was DJ switch, who did a live video on instagram while the incident was going on. Questions she needs to answer includes: How she managed to do live coverage at that close proximity to the soldiers & they didn't harm her?
78, 46 or 15, corpses were dropped in front of the soldiers & who took them away. However, she needs to explain why the soldiers didn't shoot at them while doing that & we need a better explanation to why her phone suddenly went dead when the soldiers were taking the corpses away
5. There was no blood stains at the scene, even if it was cleaned up, I don't believe everything within the pores of the road will disappear except there was a serious washing & mopping of the road. Did the soldiers washed & mopped up the road without anyone witnessing it?
Consequent upon the reasons adduced above, I am forced to hypothesize what happened at Lekki thus:
Some people ab initio saw #EndSarsProtests as an avenue to bring Nigeria down. They needed a reaction frm government to gain international symphaty & legitimize their cause
The government seems ahead of them, hence, the quick acceptance of all conditions. Afterward, they started blocking roads for a reaction but still no reaction from government. Then the thugs attacks which probably was borne out of frustration
Declaration of curfew was a perfect alibi & that's why they encouraged innocent people to defile the curfew by remaining at Lekki. We know those behind this & I believe they will answer in the course of time. They also started the news that CCTV cameras at Lekki was removed
The cover of d night gave them a perfect environment to act out there plan. Few of them, probably d private security they have bn using came in a camouflage & started shooting empty shell into d air to cause panic among the innocent protesters, hence, the empty shells at d scene
In the midst of the chaos, few of them moved towards d protesters & an already prepared camera man or woman followed from d back to record & edit the first video that went viral. While this was going on, members of d caucus already made up with effects like gun shots took d stage
DJ switch, who I believe is part of d plan quickly started her life video showing the dead & injured been carried towards the fake soldiers. That probably explains her courage in the face of " flying bullets" & why d soldiers did nothing to those carrying the corpses & d doctor
With the pandemonium that ensued afterward & the reaction from online audience, she quickly switched off the camera & the "injured & dead" stood up & disappeared into the night. The deed has been done & mission accomplished
How can we get to the root of this?
1.The government needs to release the video footage recorded by the CCTV cameras at the tollgate asap if it exist. 2. DJ switch, the doctor & all those who were first to share the news should be invited for questioning
3. The leaders of #EndSarsProtests should be invited also for questioning 4. The source of funding for the protest should be investigated
We cannot sweep this under the carpet, especially considering the carnage all over the country
If soldiers killed people at Lekki, it should be thoroughly investigated & those found culpable should be brought to book, no matter their status.
If it is found otherwise, the highest level of punishment should be meted out to all involved to serve as deterrent
Remember that this is an hypothesis, I will change my stand & apologize when I am presented with a contrary view.
Thank you
God bless Nigeria

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to
force a refresh
#EndSARS protesters have played into government hand despite continous warning that this will happen & all gained in the past few days is lost. Kindly bookmark this tweet
You can still salvage what is left if you stop making life difficult for other citizens by blocking road & organize yourself into a group government can dialogue with
Government will tell you that counter protesters also have right, that is true. The moment you start having clash between the two groups then government has an alibi to clamp down
I will appreciate if we can get a CSO to manage it
For those genuinely interested in police reform, you can start posting your ideas on the website. I promise you that we will collate & find a way to get it to the committee saddled with the responsibility @OfficialAPCNg@APCUKingdom@OfficialPDPNig
You can follow @npf_reform to interract with other like minded on how to stop police brutality &reform the organization. The website also allows you post your citizens report as it happens.
Let me once more appeal to youths remaining on the street to back down for the promise reforms to commence. Please allow that little voice of reasoning to prevail
If you don't, I see some of these happening any moment from now: 1. Counter protests will start, they also have right to protest, sponsored or not 2. Anarchy would ensure 3. Some would be injured, some would die 4. Government would send out security to quell the crisis
5. Those you hate to see would still be in power 6. Police would not be reformed 7. You would hardly laboured in vain
The was nothing that gave me kick like protest growing up. All my teenage & early adulthood was under d military rule & there is always one reason or d other to take to the street. I grew up reading abt pple like Gani Fawehinmi & I wanted to b like them
I was always against injustice, in my secondary school days, I don't usually mind serving punishment alone by tearing the noise makers list if I feel someone's name is unjustly penned down. I stupidly see myself as a sort of Messiah
I remember when June 12 was annulled, I felt the whole country should be burnt down. I remember my joy with hardship caused fuel scarcity resulting from Frank Kokori led PENGASSAN strike. Though far from Lagos the centre of all protest, my parents were so scared of me
Now that the temper is calming down gradually, maybe it's time to also talk about the attitude of the average Nigerian that is always looking for shortcut. The Nigerian that feel more comfortable to offer bribe than renewing his/her license.
The Nigerian that always feel he/she is above the law & therefore cannot b subjected to interrogation by d police. The Nigerian that is intrinsically lawless. D Nigerian that doesn't obey traffic. That Nigerian is who gave birth to SARS or whatever atrocity you see in the police
The bloodthirsty policemen, the corrupt politicians, the lazy civil servants, the dishonest men/women of God, the yahoo boys etc are mirrors showing us who we are as a people. Until we all decide to change our ways, nothing will work in this country
I will like to make an unpopular appeal to the most vocal amongst the organizers of #EndSARS protest, please it's time to develop a line of command. The life of every protester that died would be demanded from @MBuhari but you are also culpable because you call them out 😔
Please, don't lead people to protest in places you know will endanger their lives. Police stations or police headquarters is not a good idea in my opinion, except it's about ego. Please, please & please, allow commonsense to prevail
No matter what happens, there will be tomorrow & a dead person cannot be part of it. Police force presently is like & injured viper. If you expect the mentality will change overnight, then you are been childish. Please for the sake of your love ones, be circumspect
