Circleville, Ohio crowd for the President, three hours before scheduled rally. Those screens are playing @OhioStateFB
Pickaway County’s commissioner just called today’s @POTUS rally the “2020 Circleville Trumpkin Show”
Here’s the proof in the crowd
As always, I’ve picked up a collection of the most “enthusiastic” shirts & gear in the crowd, ahead of @realDonaldTrump’s 4PM remarks in Circleville, Ohio
And more (that “brick wall suit” guy, I’m told, shows up at a lot of these)
From a Biden campaign official in Cleveland today, as a crowd prepares to cheer on President Trump where I am down south in Circleville
Caught it late but Air Force One just buzzed the crowd here in Circleville on its way to landing at @RickIntlAirport
President @realDonaldTrump has just entered the motorcade from Rickenbacker Int’l Airport en route to Circleville.

Looks like we’ll end up about an hour late here on the Pickaway County fairgrounds.
No @POTUS yet, but the crowd on the bleachers behind his podium is dutifully (if mildly) dancing away this afternoon
#UPDATE: we are now more than an hour late on the campaign event, which has yet to begin.
Nothing gets a crowd pumped up quite like cranking the volume on "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. They immediately stand and look around as though something's about to happen. Every time. Wait for the drum combo...
Never fails
The @POTUS motorcade appears to have arrived, though it's hard to see from the media riser
President @realDonaldTrump takes the stage in Circleville: “It’s great to be back in Ohio to celebrate the return of @B1Gfootball
Trump: "There are tens of thousands of people in the street out here trying to get in...the next time we'll get a larger field!"

Crowd chants, "we love you, we love you"
Trump: "Ten days from now we're going to win this great state...you cannot win unless you win the great state of Ohio." Then fires the crowd up to boo towards the media riser.
Trump basking in the glow of his win in Ohio four years ago.

And now: "We're winning big here, I hear they (Biden/Harris) gave up on the state already and they're giving up on Florida because we're gonna win there."
Trump mocks the Biden/Harris campaign for a rally where he says they attracted "42 people." Then touts his rallies with thousands of supporters — which from an eyeball count, definitely includes this rally in Circleville.
Trump: "We have done more in the first 3.5 years than any administration has done. It's true."
Trump on his debate performance: "That was like a Super Bowl deal I guess, with the ratings...91 to 9, it was, with us having the 91."
Trump quoting himself: "I didn't need this Joe, I had a good life, but I wouldn't have run if you did a good job, you didn't do a good job." Etc. etc.
Trump: "(Biden's) son was like a human vacuum cleaner."
Trump: "This is serious stuff, but...is there any place better to be than a Trump rally?"
Trump claims these Ohioans aren't even allowed to go to church, "but you can have a riot down on 5th Avenue."

@GovMikeDeWine has repeatedly said he never issued an order closing down churches, political events or First Amendment displays of free speech.
Trump says of the laptop that @nypost based its Hunter Biden report on: "It's amazing the ways God works."
Trump: "We've learned how corrupt the media is." (Crowd boos us again...someone yells "f*** CNN")
"Lock them up" chant ripples through the crowd re: Biden family.

Trump: "It's much better if I say, 'No no no, please...'" (laughter)
Trump: "The ink on the trade deal wasn't dry, and then all of a sudden the plague comes in from China..."
Trump on drug prices: "Your prices could come down 50, 60, 70, 80%, they come down a lot...Big Pharma, I've just learned they're the number 1 power (in Washington)...the middle man gets more than the drug companies...I would not be surprised if Hunter Biden was also a middle man"
Trump: 'We will support our great police, protect your 2nd Amendment, defend our border...isn't a beautiful phrase, you didn't hear it a lot until Trump came along: Made In The USA."
Trump: "We're gonna say 'Merry Christmas' again...all the department stores, many of them are wiped out by the internet, but these are minor details...they said 'Happy Holidays.'"
Trump: "This is the biggest election we've ever had, because the radical left has gone crazy, and I think when we win again, they're gonna rest."

A woman in the front row says "No they won't!" and POTUS replies, "You're probably right."
Trump on infrastructure says he would fast-track road rebuilding projects: "We have roads 21, 22 years, and then it would get disapproved...those days are over. But he (Biden) would put everything back, and he's gonna raise your taxes like crazy."
Trump: "You're a big fracking state, you better hope (Biden) doesn't get in!...how about your gasoline, two dollars or less!"
Trump: "I'm cutting taxes, we're doing another big tax cut."
Trump: "You know, I worked here for a couple of summers in Cincinnati...worked out well, it was a good success...I was very young, a job in Cincinnati...it worked out, we sold it, it was a good feeling. But you know what, I have an ever better feeling" about winning Ohio.
Trump: "We're gonna be back very soon, 11.4 million people hired...which was a record. This election is a choice between a Trump super-recovery and a Biden — I hate to say it — a depression."
Trump: "We're not locking down...we locked it, then we opened, but we understand it. Young people like Barron, you know Barron, very tall...next day doctor comes in, 'Barron's fine!'

"I happened to test, know why? I can't stay in a basement, I'm strong, I have to meet people."
Trump says of his possible COVID immunity, that he could come down off the stage and "kiss all these people, men and women."
Trump on his wife: "The most elegant women, she loves the people." Crowd chants, "we love her!"

Someone shouts, "Better than Michelle!"
Trump: "I can't put myself in the basement of the @WhiteHouse...this thing's going away, we're rounding the turn. They always talk about cases...mortality rate down 85%, it's incredible. 85%, think of that!"
Trump: "You have to lead your life, you have to get out. Be vigilant, be careful, social distance, put the mask on..."

Thousands of people have been shoulder-to-shoulder here on the Pickaway County fairgrounds, some for five hours now.
Trump: "Big tech, it's corrupt...the media, it's corrupt. I've been saying it for a long time! (pointing at us) Even I didn't know you were that corrupt!" More boo'ing.
Trump lists off that a Biden administration would "confiscate your guns" and "eliminate your private healthcare" and "terminate your religious liberty" and "destroy your suburbs."
Trump quotes Lesley Stahl quoting him: "Suburban women, please love me" and says that's not what he said at a recent rally.

The actual quote is, "Suburban women, will you please like me?" Trump says he told suburban women, "you should love me!"
Trump says a Biden administration would lead to "crippling power outages" and Ohio lives "being destroyed."
Trump now playing a taped runback of @JoeBiden variously saying "we would make sure it's eliminated," "yes," and "I'd love to, too" and "I guarantee we are gonna end fossil fuels" RE: fracking
Another tape (which appears to be lifted from the now-defunct @BernieSanders campaign) is Biden's comments on cutting Social Security, Medicare and veterans programs.

Crowd getting a chuckle out of this and cheers loudly afterward.
Trump: "If Elizabeth Warren wouldn't have left (the presidential campaign), he wouldn't have won one state, and I'd be competing against Bernie."
Trump: "Bernie is a loser, I've never seen a guy like this...he loves to lose! Some people..."
Trump: "You don't have to worry about me with your Ohio fracking! You frack to your heart's content!"
Trump: "They've got this Kamala, who is the most liberal person...she said there will never be fracking! Now she says, 'Well I think we can live with it.' No, no, no...they're not gonna have a choice."
Trump says Biden has handed control of the Democratic Party over to socialists, Marxists, etc.
Trump on Democrat-controlled cities: "How about Baltimore, how about Oakland, how about Ferguson, how about St. Louis. What he (Biden) had...and like I said, that's why I'm here."
Trump pretty much just mentioning the names of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, gets loud boos from the crowd.
Trump: "If Biden wins, the flag-burning rioters in the streets will be running your federal government."

Biden has said several times that destructive riots are not valid forms of protest but are "opportunistic violent destruction."
Trump on pulling down monuments: "We signed something that says ten years, and you know they were going to march...thousands of people coming to rip down statues and we informed them, 'it's going to be ten years in jail.' Actually we said prison, it's a much tougher term."
Trump: "They're gonna pack the Supreme Court with far-left judges who are gonna eliminate your 2nd Amendment...and if you happen to be pro-life, you can forget that."
Trump claims "many Presidents have never" had a confirmed Supreme Court justice, let alone three.
intelligentcollector.com/blog/only-four…
Trump welcomes @KeithFaber, state supreme court justices Judi French and Sharon Kennedy to the rally.

Ohio GOP chairwoman @JaneyMurph Timken also gets a shout-out.
Trump again basking in the glow of his Ohio victory in 2016. As well as Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia...

"We just swept that whole place, and then we came in with Michigan...with Wisconsin...it was like one of the most beautiful evenings, wasn't it?"
Trump notes he's asked about a peaceful transition of power if he loses the #2020 election...and asks the crowd, "When I won, did they give me a friendly transition?"

Claims the Obama administration spied on him
Trump: "We are bringing our jobs, our troops and our factories back to the USA!...Afghanistan, 19 years, would you say that's enough? And we're the policemen over there."
Trump: "We had to close down, did the right thing, saved all those lives...and now we're re-opening it."

He kind of jokes about the slogan @Mike_Pence has recently used in Ohio, "Make America Great Again, again."
Trump: "We had to slow it down, close it up, save those lives, understand this horrible virus that was sent to us by China...and we can never forget it. After the virus hit, we've recovered faster than any...nation on earth, since April."
Trump says Delphi workers "are so lucky I'm President."
daytondailynews.com/news/trump-iss…
Trump: "I ended the NAFTA nightmare, one of the worst trade deals, probably the worst one...and proudly signed the brand-new USMCA into the law...you know how I know it's good? Because those two countries aren't quite as happy as we are."
Trump: "The wall is almost complete..."
abc6onyourside.com/news/nation-wo…
Trump: "I want people to come into our country, who love our country and want to help our country, not people who want to blow up things and kill people...I'm keeping the terrorists and Jihadists out of our country, if that's okay."
Trump: "In conclusion, over the next four years we will make America into the manufacturing superpower of the world, it's already started."

"We will uphold the right to keep and bear arms!" (loudest cheer of the day)
Trump: "There are two things that will never get obsolete: a wall and a wheel."
Trump: "We're much less likely to have to use (the nuclear arsenal) because right now we have the hydrosonic missles...I call them the super-duper missiles."

There is no such thing as a "hydrosonic" missile; *hypersonic missiles travel faster than the speed of sound.
Trump: "We will stop the radical indoctrination of our schools, and we will restore patriotic education to our schools." (louder cheers than the 2nd Amendment)
Trump: "For years you had a President who apologized for America...now you have a President who is standing up for America, and standing up for the great people of Ohio."
Trump: "For the last four years you have seen me fight for you, and now I'm relying on you to deliver another historic victory...vote early, bring your family, your neighbors, your co-workers, I don't care. But everybody has to get out and vote!"
Trump: "Together we are taking back our country! We are returning power to you, the American people — that's what this is all about...we are going to keep on winning, winning, winning, that's right."
Trump, wrapping up and ticking off terms like safe, wealthy, strong..."and we will make America great again, thank you Ohio, go out and vote."

"YMCA" by the Village People ends the rally as Trump lightly dances and pumps his fists on the stage.

Back on a Friday with more election questions, like this: Could voter fraud affect an Ohio presidential election?

I talked to Boards of Election directors and Ohio Secretary of State @FrankLaRose about this 👇

The short answer: no.
Think of how someone could electronically hack into a Board of Election vote-counting computer. They'd need 1 of 2 things: access to the computer room...or the computer's internet connection.

Problem #1: Boards of Election have a double-locked & coded system on every door.
Problem #2: there is one internet connection, on one computer. And it's not the vote-counting (tabulator) computer.

@FairfieldCoBOE kindly helps with the explanation 👇

I met a group at the Statehouse yesterday that called DeWine a “tyrant.” A woman swore an Oath of Office (below) and said she’s now governor. She said DeWine was removed by “declaration” and is officially under “house arrest.”

This language rings eerily similar to Tyler’s report
In an unrelated news conference, @GovMikeDeWine says he didn’t know about the plot but it’s despicable people would try to go around the legal process of things.
“At this point in my life I’m not shocked by anything...people in every state believe they can take the law into their own hands, that they have every right to basically go and overthrow the gov’t...it’s incumbent on all of us to denounce that, no matter where it’s coming from.”

Moderator says “there have been questions about the work your son has done in China,” Ukraine, etc.

Biden says he “later learned” his son was on the board of Burisma, then pivots to impeachment before saying “not a single, solitary thing was out of line” with himself.
Biden: “My son has not made money in terms of, what is this thing you’re talking about? China.”
Trump aims to tie Biden to his son again; Biden responses “nobody said he did anything wrong in Ukraine.” Debate moves on to Trump’s bank account in China; he says it was closed in 2015.

“I decided to run for President after that; it was before.”

2PM WITH @GovMikeDeWine: bit of a delay today on the state's end, so we're stuck staring at a familiar pandemic screen so far.

Governor's news conference set to begin in a few moments, and I'll tweet the updates here... Image
THIS IS A NEW ONE: former New Jersey governor @ChrisChristie is on the governor’s Zoom briefing today. Image
DeWine: “For my fellow Ohioans who have said that until now this virus did not impact their family...the message to them today is, it’s now serious.

We need every one of you...to be fully engaged in this battle.” Image

I’m a bit late to get started, sorry — @GovMikeDeWine chooses coffee and I’m going with an apple and Twitter for today’s coronavirus briefing.

Follow along...
Off the top, DeWine acknowledged that today's COVID-19 death count is VERY high — 87 new deaths reported.

He explains (as he did last week): those are the deaths that made it into reports over the last 24 hours, not necessarily those that *occurred* in the last 24 hours.
Here's when DeWine first acknowledged these inconsistent numbers last week

See anything wrong here? A homeowner’s association in @DublinOhio did. The HOA told homeowner Ingrid Grass that one of these yard signs had to come down.

Which do you think it was? Image
Ingrid called us after her “TRUMP 2020” sign was ordered down just 3 days after it went up.

She shared emails showing the HOA policy does not limit political signs — it limits ALL signs.

Which is fine with her, except for all other signs that don’t get cited and removed. ImageImageImageImage
“It’s selective enforcement,” Grass said to me. “It’s someone’s biased choice to enforce it on that (Trump sign), but not any of the other signs."
