A large group of protestors has taken to the street Westbound on Pine St approaching Broadway. Traffic will be stopped in the area. Please be careful if driving in the area.
The group is now Westbound on Pike St from Harvard.
The protest is entering Downtown via Northbound Boren passing Olive. Traffic is still blocked in the area.
The group has made it to the West Precinct in the 800 block of Virginia St.
The protest is now at 7 Ave and Pine St.
Additional information. We have located graffiti and some bottles that were thrown at the West Precinct by some individuals in the group. The Protestors are now blocking Pine St between 5th and 6th Ave.
Looks like the group has now set up for a live band in Westlake Park.
A small group of people have broken off from the protest and has begun throwing construction signs and trash cans into the street. They are going Eastbound on Pine St.
The group that was left at Westlake Park has now started marching again and is Southbound on 4th Ave.
This group has now relocated to 12 Ave and E Pine near the East Precinct.
The protest is now Eastbound on Madison approaching 13th. We have reports that a couple cars narrowly missed them. Please be careful driving through the area.
As the group passed the East Precinct they tagged the wall and threw objects at the building. They have continued Eastbound towards 11 Ave on Pine St.
An ambulance has been delayed by protestors at Broadway and Pine St.
That group has made entry into a secured parking facility on 12 Ave. Officers are escorting them out now.
And the protestors have made their way back into Cal Anderson Park.

A second order to disperse has been issued. A person on a motorcycle is blocking fire department access to the scene.

Officers/HNT responding to the 2500 block of 4th Ave following a stabbing at an apartment building. At this time, one person reported injured. Officers in contact with the suspect inside the building. More information as it becomes available.
Update: Officers still working to locate/contact the suspect. Will be shutting down roads in the area as police investigate.
UPDATE: Two victims with life-threatening injuries. Suspect is barricaded in an apartment. Negotiators attempting to make contact with the suspect. Some evacuations in the building.

Due to ongoing violence and public safety issues in the East Precinct/Cal Anderson Park area. Mayor Jenny Durkan has issued an executive order to vacate the area. Seattle police will be in the area this morning enforcing the Mayor’s order. spdblotter.seattle.gov/2020/07/01/may…
Since demonstrations at the East Precinct area began on June 8th, two teenagers have been killed and three people have been seriously wounded in late-night shootings. Police have also documented robberies, assaults, and other violent crimes.
Because suspects in recent shootings may still be in the area, and because numerous people in the area are in possession of firearms, Seattle Police officers involved in this morning’s response will be equipped with additional protective gear.
