You didn't sleep all night, your eyes lit like torchlight.
Uncle Dracula, Aunty Vampire. Yes you.
Let's talk about Sleep Hygiene...A thread
The bedroom should be for two things only :
1.sleep
2. Sex
Unlike most vigorous physical activity, sex makes us sleepy.
There's a strong association in people's minds between sleep and the bedroom.
Certain things weaken that association, such as TVs and other electronic gadgets, light, noise, and a bad mattress or bed.
📌Your bedroom ideally needs to be dark, quiet, tidy and be kept at a temperature of between 18C and 24C.
📍Fit some thick curtains if you do not have any. If you're disturbed by noise, consider investing in double glazing or, for a cheaper option, use earplugs.
keep regular sleeping hours. This programmes the brain and internal body clock to get used to a set routine.
You Need between 6 and 9 hours of sleep every night.
You stay in bed with Phone, Charger, IPad, Laptop, book and expect to sleep.
It's Bedroom not Cinema. Are You selling equipment?
Put those things aside, go to bed..
Winding down is a critical stage in preparing for bed.
📌After a long day, you should shower. You are not a witch. Shower. Warm temperature is best.
📌Slight exercises like Yoga can help too.
📌Music, mostly hypnotic types can help with sleep too.
📌Avoid using smartphones, tablets or other electronic devices for an hour or so before you go to bed as the light from the screen on these devices may have a negative effect on sleep.
I hope you get a good night sleep today. Yes You!

1 - For Flights, You should turn on private browsing aka incognito mode- helps you find CHEAP flights as you'd appear as a new user of the airline website.
In Google Chrome or Safari, incognito is enabled by hitting Command (or “Control” if using PC), Shift, “N”
"Growing up in my household was a bit of a struggle. Around the age of 12, I was bullied severely, which had an impact on my mental health
I began to experience symptoms of anxiety. I was always a reserved, quiet person but I built up courage to talk to my mum about my feelings"
"Before I was diagnosed with depression, I was quite oblivious to mental health issues
Since then, I have gained a much deeper insight on how society these issues. Words are powerful. Which is why I have said publicly, “when I keep quiet, stigma wins – I can’t let that happen”
"It wasn’t until I was in sixth form that I opened up to my mum about my mental health.
She noticed my behaviour was affecting my everyday life, including college, and we had a conversation about the steps we could take going forward to find a solution"
"The worst part is the insecure relationships…when I am attached to someone, they are my whole world and it is crippling. I care so deeply about how long they take to reply to an email, or their tone of voice, because I'm so afraid of losing them"
