Christians are not judges
A day will come when we will judge the world but that day is not today
A day will come when believers will judge angels, but that day is not today
A day will come when we will condemn the world but that day is not today
Today, we save the world through
the gospel.
We reconcile the world to the Father through Jesus
Today we spread the fragrance of the love of Jesus, not bu PREACHING a gospel of fear, demons, and Hell but by the declaration of his love and grace through the Holy Spirit.
I have seen the kind of believers the
gospel of fear of hell produces
They are a sorry lot
They find it difficult to forgive
They are self-righteous
They cast stones at will
They feel they have paid a price by denying themselves and those who didn't do the same should burn in hell
All they see is death, decay and
destruction
And that is the reality of their Christian life
Once they open their mouth you will hear the negativism
"Every Enemy...."
"Every Demon..."
"Every Attack..."
"Witchcraft Coven..."
"Pit of hell..."
"Every Power..."
and other phrases like those mentioned are constantly
their vocabulary
They have a mental relationship with the Holy Spirit but they do not give Him full expression in their realities
They are always in control of the narrative
They cannot discern or differentiate good from evil
They are easily deceived physically and spiritually
They are extremely gullible
The reality of the spirit is too complicated for them
....As you are in the light, walk so in it.... says the word
but they claim to be in the light but their prayers, words, thoughts, and imaginations are always professing and acknowledging darkness.
They are superstitious, take every experience they have in the spirit as negative, and are always reacting to reality rather than happening to reality
Put their life and the life of Jesus side by side and you will find no similarity
They have a hard heart and a religious mindset
They cannot offer grace and reconciliation to the sinner or a backsliding believer
They would rather tie such to the stake and burn him as an example to others
I was in a state once to preach the gospel
The Holy Spirit said there was a family in that church, the late head of the
family was a fraudster
This man swindled many people including a pastor and he was cursed by a prophet
Since he died, his family had suffered so much
His wife had gone to this prophet with her three daughters begging for forgiveness and even selling all the properties her husband
acquired with the ill-gotten gains to restitute
This prophet refused to forgive
He said the amount of money that was taken from him and the church was way higher than what was brought back
The family acknowledged the wrong done but they couldn't raise the full sum
They begged
The prophet said NO!
The man's wife was afflicted in the left side of her body
His three daughters were afflicted also
Two with fibroid
The third with cyst
All advancing towards their forties without a spouse
It was a life of sorrow, tears, and blood
I have never met them before
in my life
As I was rounding off the ministration, i saw them in my spirit
A lady and her children weeping and pleading for mercy
So I announced it and asked them to come forward
The whole church went silent
Everybody knew their case
They were the accursed family in the church
As soon as they got to the altar the woman fell on her knees
She was in her late fifties but she looked seventy
She was in tears
The daughters also fell on their knees
They reminded me of the lady with the alabaster box
They kept coming to the same church, seeking mercy and
grace
I asked her how long ago the Prophet laid a curse on their family
She said 17 years!
Oh, my word!
I asked her how much the money her husband "stole" was
She said 2.7 million
How much have you paid back?
She said she and her children had been able to raise 4.4 million
Why
are you paying more than was stolen?
She said the prophet said they have to pay in sevenfold before he would lift the curse
Wow!
The prophet was in the church
The team that invited me were the leadership of the youth church
It was the thanksgiving service of the Youth programme
and I was ministering the gospel to the main church (The youth joined the main church for service)
So I turned to the Prophet and looked at him
His face was stony
He didn't even crack a smile
He was assuming nobody else but he could lift the curse
but he was mistaken, he didn't
know the gospel
The reason the family remained under the curse for so long was because they had not encountered the gospel.
...Nobody can lay a charge against His elect
...Nobody can curse those whose DNA was coded in Christ
...Light can never curse the light
Apostle Paul said
Henceforth, let no man trouble me for I bear upon my body the mark of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Believers are sealed with the Holy Ghost of promise
We live, move and breathe in Christ
Christ is the blessed one
You cannot be cursed in the blessed one
It is just impossible
So I turned
to the mother and her daughter and I said "This curse is broken now!"
They chorused "Amen" and almost instantly the three of them were baptized in the Holy Spirit and they started praying in tongues right there
I handed over the microphone to the minister that invited me
After
the service, the Prophet sent for me
He was warm and congenial but he felt I shouldn't have done what I did without his permission
He said they were an example for the church
He deliberately instructed them that they must never leave that church, it was part of their punishment
and he did that so that anyone in the church who was tempted would look at them and have a rethink
I apologized to him
i reminded him that the Holy Spirit that we received was for the liberation of men and not to place them in bondage
Luke 4: 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

He said it was okay and wished me well
but he was unhappy about it
The Holy Spirit graciously made a way for this family
The youngest daughter got married to an American and the whole family relocated abroad
The other two sisters have also gotten married and continued to live a blessed life
The Gospel is a blessing
unto mankind
It is not a curse
The gospel is the power to forgive sinners and bring them to the love of Jesus, not to afflict them and watch them burn
Sinners sin, that is their nature
The light shines, that is its nature
The light does not put anyone in the darkness

His mother's favorite line was
"Life is war and living is warfare
If you wait until you see what the
enemy is doing against you, it will
be too late.
The devil is a roaring lion seeking
whom to devour, it is our duty to
keep a step ahead of the enemy,
Yesterday's prayer is never
enough!
When I was a child, even though i
was born into a pagan family, i know
how hard my parents tried to fortify
us.
We are concoctions in the middle of
the night and in the afternoon
We ate concoctions on refuse dumps
Just so that they can keep us safe from
the arrows of the
arrows of the enemy
Despite all the incisions and concoctions
and sacrifices and divinations that they
did
Only four of my parent's eight children
survived
There was one of my late siblings that
i remember vividly
He died the very day my mother went
to enroll him in school

Jerry VS. Hanny

28 In that same year, at the beginning of the reign of King Zedekiah of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur, from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and all the people, saying
2‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. 3Within two years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, which King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon.
4I will also bring back to this place King Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim of Judah, and all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon, says the Lord, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.’

5 Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the

I wonder why people always angry with those who do not agree with them
Different opinions make for a healthy society
We must protect the dissenting voices
They might be right
They might even be God
Jeremiah found himself alone with his message at his time
God gave him the word
He shared it with the king and His noblemen
Nobody wanted to hear it
Jeremiah was slapped, insulted, and thrown into the well for holding on to the truth
Jeremiah was accused of trying to defect to the camp of the enemy and beaten for being a dissenting voice in his time
Hmmm!
Thank God Jeremiah didn't compromise
Thank God Jeremiah didn't throw in the towel
Thank God Jeremiah kept prophesying
At the end of the day, all the other prophets that rose against him died and their voices perished
It was Jeremiah's prophecy that guided Daniel in Babylon and

He couldn't help but ask her why
He knew his question will sound intrusive& embarrassing but he couldn't help it so he braced himself and asked "Why are you cheating on your husband?"
She looked at him and said "I am very lost in that marriage. It isn't my first and I don't think
It will be my last
I had expected that once I got married, the gulf i feel within me will be filled
You know...
I had always felt this lacuna, this void deep within me
I don't know if you get it
I feel like I am a seeker and what I need is in a man's hand
For a moment after I met
my current husband, I had bubbles in my tummy and it felt as if the gulf has been filled but then after we got married and things settled down, the void returned
it was exactly how it felt in my previous marriages
It just felt empty
I am like a wanderer who couldn't settle down

A lady wrote a moving thread on Twitter about being raped
I gave her a call
I asked her what happened
She said it happened in a bar
There are witnesses
She climbed on top of him at 7:30pm in a public bar without wearing undies and he "Raped" her
She was the one on top throughout!
I told her I am sure that is not rape
She said "I felt dirty afterward, I felt really terrible. You have to understand how what he did to me made me feel.
I have been writing threads on social media for a long time, I went on Instagram and they insulted me. They said I accuse
everybody of rape
but when i came on Twitter, people listened
I am telling you I was raped"
I said "Okay"
When did this happen?
She said December 2019
Did you report to the police?
No
Did you report anywhere else?
Yes. But they didn't believe me
I said "I also don't believe you"

The Chaplain

Many of those who were in that University between 2005-2007 will remember this true-life story
It is the story of a man of God I respect and honour greatly, I am writing it without his permission therefore I won't mention his name
I will refer to him as The Chaplain
The University, like many other Christian institutions founded in a secular society, had a lot of issues in its first year. In their bid to secure the cooperation of the indigenes and be friendly, they signed a lot of dangerous pacts. The pact led to the infiltration of the
school by some students who believed they came in as indigenes of the community and therefore can do anything they wanted since they had the backing of the traditional ruler of the community
About 50 students from the community wouldn't attend chapel, pray with the other students
